I went in with my new car (barely a month old) to have a business lunch with one of my associates.
Had parked car out front in their entrance. Security sought the key in case some other car comes they need to move it or something.
After lunch, I returned to find my car relocated in a parking spot which was a tight squeeze between a concrete pillar and the hotel’s boundary. The security was also changed - no sign of the guy who took key from me. I could barely maneuver my way into the driver’s seat. After reaching the place of my next meeting at Trivandrum, I saw there were three scratches on one side, which clearly happened when the security moved my car to that narrow spot.
I called the hotel immediately and told the incident in 10 mins after lunch. Receptionist took the call and told someone else will contact. Then another guy called and told their operation manager will call back. That's that - Radio silence after that.
I kept on trying no answer. Finally in the night, got a call from their operational manager after 6-7 hours, the delay itself gave me the idea that nothing is going to happen and it's a waste of time for me. As expected, he was like 'what can we do'? what proof do you have? and all.
The situation left me feeling helpless. It wasn’t merely about repairing the scratches; it was about the emotional attachment I had to my new car, purchased with hard-earned money. The hotel’s lack of accountability and communication was disappointing, to say the least.

Since there was no parking available, I had to park behind another vehicle. I politely informed the security guard that he could call me anytime if the car needed to be moved, as we were seated close to the front passage. From the start, the security guard was incredibly rude. He insisted on taking my car key, which I refused, offering instead to move the car myself if needed.
The guard muttered something under his breath as I walked inside. Not long after, he called me out because the car in front had to move. Despite my willingness to comply without hesitation, he continued his rude behavior. At this point, I lost my patience and spoke to the manager in charge. I demanded an apology from the security guard. Although the manager attempted to mediate, the security guard showed no remorse or willingness to acknowledge his mistake.
To the owner and management, are you aware that your security staff act as if they are in charge, showing no respect to your patrons? This was my sixth visit to your establishment, but after this experience, I have decided never to return. I understand that this review might not bring about any immediate change, but I want you to know that if your staff do not learn basic manners and etiquette, it will inevitably cause significant problems for your business...
