Relax Zones — Hotel in Kerala

We stayed here over a weekend for a night. We booked Neem & Peepal two bedroom twin villa for 8 people. Place was spacious and well maintained. There was a care taker for the block we stayed. The place is calm and located amidst coffee plantation. The road from main road to the resort block is off-road and vehicles with low ground clearance will suffer to climb, although it is just .5 km.||||This place is very close to Pookode lake and walkable from Lakkidi view-point. ||||The staff was ok, not so great. ||||Pros:||||Location, cleanliness, close to nature, good terrace to party with friends||||Cons: ||||No in-house food option as we were given a menu from nearby hotel to order food which was delivered to us, Even water bottles were not free and...

This has to be one of the good place to stay when in wayanad for relaxing. Nice ambience, great location, good view. Spacious cottages. Two bed and three bed ones where we stayed was such great place that we felt to stay there more.

Disadvantage, if you are coming to Wayanad for 1st time and you dont have more than 2 days to spare, but you want sightseeing, like to visit more places than staying back in resort relaxing, then the location of hotel is bit tricky esp if you are coming from Calicut direction. This is right at the entrance towards to wayanad hence its difficult to go to places in and around wayanad from here.

Another issue is they dont had restaurant when we visited hence food was ordered...

If you want a good break from your normal life and love to stay around a forest where rain is daily part of life then this is the place for you. It is located at the edge of the rainforest in Wayanad. It keeps raining now and then with lots of mist. Property is beautiful with nice view of mountains covered with clouds far away. Sight of forest and mountains is just wonderful. You will not feel yourself lonely as your will have company of monkeys, beautiful chirping birds, leeches and not to forget the continuous sound of crickets. In terms of food there are good options around the property. You can go to many places around like lakkidi view point, chembera peak,...
