Smart Residency — Hotel in Kerala

Stayed in Hotel Smart Residency for 1 night during a long drive in May 2024. It is a comfortable hotel

THE PROS: •Food is cheap •Rooms are spacious •Very Spacious surroundings and safe hotel • Conveniently located on NH 544 in the Salem kochi Highway and easily locatable • It is best for a nights stay and dinner, Bar is available for those interested in a drink • Staff are friendly

THE CONS: • Barely any staff to assist, had to take my own luggage to the rooms and back • No buffet breakfast offered complimentarily, restaurant opens only at 9 am or so • Hot water depends on solar heaters, so may not get hot water in the rainy season • AC in room 203 is emitting smoke • Chicken Curry very spicy and Chapati was not toasted well • No room credit, have to pay on the spot when food is delivered to the room

Hope the management will do the needful and rectify the defects mentioned. Will stay...

We stayed at this nice hotel near Hilite Mall, Thrissur. We were two people and booked a standard room for one day - the rate was just ₹1000 per person, which is very affordable. The room was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. The hotel also provides food service, and we tried their chapathi with egg roast - it was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, and priced reasonably. The overall quality of the food really exceeded our expectations. The location is easy to access, close to Hilite Mall, and there's a good parking area available for guests. Date of stay Dec 29’ 2019. Good staff. Location is also good. But Very poor management. No hot water in the bathroom. They says you will get breakfast at 7am.
