At a glance The food we had, service we received, and the parking space we took, every experience was good. And the bill was beyond satisfactory. Value for money experience.

Nestled in the heart of Thrissur, the Thrissur Food Factory is a culinary gem that tantalizes taste buds with its authentic flavors and impeccable service. As a connoisseur of South Indian cuisine, I recently had the pleasure of dining at this esteemed establishment, and I must say, the experience surpassed all expectations.

Irachi Chor (Beef ): Succulent pieces of beef marinated in a perfect blend of spices and fried to perfection, the Irachi Chor is a true delight for meat lovers. Each bite bursts with bold flavors that leave a lasting impression.

Porotta: The flaky layers of the Porotta, paired with its soft texture, make it an ideal accompaniment to any curry or gravy dish. It's a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail.

Chapathi: Simple yet satisfying, the Chapathi at Thrissur Food Factory is soft, fluffy, and pairs wonderfully with a variety of side dishes. Its versatility makes it a favorite among diners of all ages.

Paneer Butter Masala: Creamy, rich, and bursting with the flavors of tomatoes, spices, and paneer, the Paneer Butter Masala is a vegetarian delight that never fails to impress. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and tastes.

Paneer 65: A spicy and tangy twist to the classic Paneer dish, the Paneer 65 at Thrissur Food Factory is a culinary masterpiece. The paneer cubes are perfectly coated in a flavorful batter and fried to perfection, creating a dish that is both crunchy and indulgent.

Vegetable Fried Rice: Fragrant and packed with colorful veggies, the Vegetable Fried Rice is a satisfying meal on its own or a perfect accompaniment to any curry. Each grain is perfectly cooked, and the vegetables retain their crispness, adding a delightful crunch to every bite.

Lemon juice : Quantity and quality was perfect.

Highly recommended for Groups, couples and families. Long distance travellers can relax and have a good fooding experience.

Toilets are good, 3.5/4 (would be great if they redesign the hand washing area. It does have some privacy concern)

Parking is good 5/5

Visibility 5/5

Food 5/5

Saff...

The Food Factory, a hotel located on the roadside of Thrissur, is a place that many locals and tourists have visited in the past. However, it's not a place that anyone would recommend, as it has been rated as having the worst food and toilet facilities in the area.

Located on the National Highway, the Food Factory is known for charging high prices for subpar food. Customers have reported that they were charged more than 170 rupees for a fish curry meal, which is not only expensive but also not worth the price.

Furthermore, the hotel's air conditioning system does not seem to be functioning properly, which makes dining in the heat unbearable. Most of the seats do not have the comfort of a ceiling fan, adding to the discomfort of the customers.

The restaurant's toilet facilities are also a major issue, describing them as the worst they have ever seen. The washrooms are unclean, unpleasant to use, and do not have basic amenities such as toile soap.

It is unfortunate that the Food Factory has become known for these negative attributes, as it could have been a great spot for travelers to stop for a quick bite or a rest during their journey. However, it seems that the hotel management has not prioritized the comfort and satisfaction

With high prices, bad food, and unpleasant toilet facilities, it's not worth risking your comfort or health. Instead, travelers are advised to seek out other dining options in the area that prioritize their customers' satisfaction...

“We went there as a family. It took about 20 minutes of continuous calling before someone came to take our order. We ordered parotta, chicken curry, chapathi, fried rice, and paneer masala. Even after that, the food took a long time to arrive. We had asked for tea at the beginning to refresh ourselves from the fatigue of travel, but we only got it when we were about to leave after paying the bill. Similarly, although the juice we ordered was included in the bill, we never received it. The person who took the order never came back. Just as we were about to get into the vehicle, we saw that person making tea. The chicken in the curry was simply boiled and thrown into the gravy. Not a single dish was worth the money we paid. The air conditioning was not working. We went in hoping to relieve the fatigue of our journey, but for us — including the children — it only added to the exhaustion.

The main problem there was that there was no manager or captain present. Even though the ambience and setup of the place were excellent, there were no staff capable of maintaining that standard. Overall, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at...

Those who can't maintain cleanliness shouldn't run a restaurant. At Food Factory, the cleanliness issues were glaring; the seats were covered in droppings and were torn. While the dining area and tables were decent, the overall impression was marred by these lapses. The food had its ups and downs. The chicken tikka was good, but the egg biryani was a letdown. The rice was poorly textured, lacked flavor, and the quality was subpar, despite a decent portion size and presentation. Additionally, charging 30 for gravy felt a bit excessive. On the positive side, the service was mostly attentive and polite, although we had to point out the cleanliness issues. The ambiance was good, with a spacious interior and ample parking.Overall, while the restaurant offers some advantages, like good parking and a decent atmosphere, the cleanliness issues are a significant drawback. I'd rate my experience a 5 out of 10, and while I might visit again, it would be with reservations due to the cleanliness concerns.
