ABOUT THE PROPERTY... Well Maintained, Neat and Clean, Big Open Farm's Land Like Farm House. Room/Washroom was Specious and Clean, Car Parking is on Premises and at Street also. Leh Main Market is around 1.5 KM away.

ABOUT THE HOST... Mr. Namgyal is Very Sweet, Loving, Lenient and Modest Person.

He is Very Cooperative and Helpful. He is Always ready to Help his Guests Any time and Any Cost.

As we are Vegetarian, that's why he was allowed to Cook our Own Meals in his Separate Kitchen.

ABOUT MY OPINION... My wife and I stayed in June 2024. We Enjoyed the Place. At a very Reasonable Price. We Never Experienced any Problem from Property and The Host.

We feel like it's our OWN HOME.

FINNALLY... I Highly Recommend this Property to All, If u want to Stay Peacefully in Nature then it's THE RIGHT PLACE.

I had a very bad experience at Chalung Homestay and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here. The attendant, Prem, was clearly under the influence of alcohol most of the time, extremely moody, and at times abusive in his behavior. Meals served were very disappointing — often leftovers — and he kept asking for money in ways that felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable. The owner appears to have no control over what’s happening, and doesn’t intervene even when issues are reported. Another big red flag: there is no menu or rate list for food and services. Bills are made randomly, and if you’re not careful, you’ll end up paying inflated charges. Always check your bills line by line because transparency is non-existent here.

Overall, this stay was stressful and unpleasant. For the same price, you can find much better, cleaner, and more stress free stays !! Big No...

Beautiful stay. Stayed for 11 days . The food was totally what I expected. It’s a 2nd home for me for sure . You get varieties in your menu everyday, nothing gets repeated . Great people . Great stay. The owner stays in the same property with his Family . They keep visiting the place to make sure everything is running smoothly. You do whatever you want to do. Perfect place for me and for other people who stayed with me during marathon . We just enjoyed our stay . I did not miss my home food at all. Why to waste your money outside when you get the same food here. The rooms are clean so is the dining place . They grow their own vegetables , they have their own cow for the milk.
