A Truly Memorable Stay at Zanang Hotel, Leh
We had the pleasure of staying at Zanang Hotel in Leh for six wonderful days, and it was an experience to remember. Perfectly located in the heart of the city, the hotel offers easy access to both the airport and the main market, making it an ideal base for exploring the region.
What truly sets this property apart is its tranquil garden — a lush space adorned with trees, offering a peaceful retreat where one can sit, relax, and rejuvenate after a day of sightseeing.
The hospitality here is exceptional. The staff are incredibly courteous, attentive, and responsive to every request — often delivering on short notice with remarkable efficiency and warmth. Their genuine care for guests is evident in every interaction.
A special mention goes to the owner, who is not only gracious and helpful but made our stay feel like a home away from home. Her thoughtfulness extended even to our departure, when she gifted us beautiful fridge magnets as souvenirs of our stay.
The culinary experience at Zanang was another highlight. We were served a delightful array of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, with the menu thoughtfully changing each day. Every meal was freshly prepared with great care and love, and it reflected in the taste.
In every aspect — location, comfort, food, service, and hospitality — Zanang Hotel exceeded our expectations. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Leh and look forward to returning...
Read moreOne of my best experiences in terms of service, helpful nature of staff, Rooms and a wow dining experience.
Based on the information I have gathered about lodging experience and expectations, Zanang and their staff elevated it to a very high standard. Mr. Singh and Arjun were so patient and prompt in helping residents.
The rooms are big enough for 3 people and laid out well with a comfortable coffee table by the window. Some of the rooms have balconies with beautiful views of snow capped mountains. The bathrooms are big with non slip tiles with a great vanity top, Western closet a shower area. There are toleteries for showering and toilet paper. The bathroom was bright, clean and dry.
The front elevation of the hotel introduce visitors to the local Ladakhi architecture. Entrance is through a few cobbled steps with a wheel chair access ramp on either side.
The reception and the welcome area are big enough with a waiting Lounge and to one side there is a big dining hall which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Overall a great experience in Leh which kicked off our tour of Ladakh.
Best wishes to the management and hope to see this good service...
Read moreAs I travel through out the year, staying in this hotel was one of the worst experience. Its a new hotel & the hotel management is below average in terms of communication with customers, lack of information and charges triple than the MRP for mineral bottles. When questioned, the lady (owner) of the hotel was so rude & arrogant but she couldn't justify this. We settled the bill amount and was about to check out. The lady came out and continued to abuse. She insulted us by saying don't step into our hotel if you people can't afford even after paying their bill ( just bcoz questioning abt charging triple the amount for water bottle). They do not have social & professional etiquettes to run the business. In terms of Food & dining - tasty & well maintained. Cleanliness of the room & washroom - good. Staff- quite polite. Management(Owner) behaviour...
