pawna lake camping for couples and family — Hotel in Maharashtra

Smelly tent with smelly and dirty bed sheets/blankets. Seems not washed since long...disgusting and hygiene issues. We removed all provide by them and used our bed sheets and room freshener to get into the tent. Overall not comfortable.. tents are not ventilated but hot and humid. You can sleep only after 4:00 am as some groups are screaming all the night in neighbourhood. Food quality is below average and portions is also not sufficient… we were starving all the time. You need to carry yours. No drinks are served… No much choice in dinner ... veg and non veg served in same place…. no bonfire.. ambiance is too poor… No arrangements of games… some arrows and bow found in pathetic broken condition.. Common toilets and no bathrooms..

Cut the long story to short it was like Man VS wild situation.

You become hungry, can not sleep, sweating all the time, mosquitoes, smells, loud, crowd and screams...

The camping place is an Okayish experience. Food is average with barbeque items below average. Camps are also okay. There was no promised bonfire.

Things start to look up when you go near the lake, especially at sunset. A melange of astounding colours of the evening sky fills your heart with unqualified happiness and your camera with some droolworthy pics.

In short, do go to Pawna but do your research before you go. Perhaps, some place may be offering a better...
