Anantha Hotel, Bhandup — Hotel in Mumbai

I would like you to bring into notice yesterday was one of the worst experience i have ever had. I had confirmed on 1st january 2020 that my room has been booked for 2nd Feb 2020 mode of booking Agoda. But yesterday when i came for check in , your desk person Kunal informed all rooms are sold out and your booking is not there. I showed him booking confirmation of Agoda and still he is telling your booking is not there someone must have called you for cancellation. After wasting 1 hour at the desk i asked him to show me the system. So when he try searching my name on outlook there were 4 emails under my name showing the confirmation. But still he continues the same record that rooms are sold out. After several agruments he gave a room 107 but it was not a good room, AC not working properly, plus single beds. Pathetic experience i have ever had. After all this i asked kunal can i check out at 12.30 he informed No as it is policy. But it was wastage from their side. Neither a sorry nor apologies for anything. This was first time and last time i would ever be to...

This place is a Perfect Stay as a 3 star Hotel. By simply looking at the building one might conclude it's a small hotel but no, Three rooms are of great size with almost every amenity ( more than what you get at a 3 star Hotel). Moreover, it's near IIT BOMBAY where I had my conference. Believe me, most of International participants also stayed here, so you can trust. Staff is Polite and Friendly. Also, the food is really great...I mean it's very tasty... The Russians and Japanese paid around Rs.1000 as tip, I know it's too much for us but not for them. And I did read some bad reviews about breakfast. See, according to me everything was decent, I mean I only ate cereals, cornflakes and coffee for first two days. But then as my Dad recommended the Poha, which I generally don't eat, I tried a bit and Believe me it was really tasty.

I will recommended this if: If don't have a very high Budget If you want to experience tasty food If you need a decent stay near IITB. If you want to explore the real Indian experience.

Excellent place to stay. Price is on the higher side, but perfectly reasonable given the quality of the stay. A very responsive staff and very well maintained rooms, much like a 3.5 star hotel. The location is also suitable. The hotel is situated along the main road, making almost all forms of transportation easily available. Bhandup railway station is also about 2 km away, so you can easily catch the local train. The hotel has an associated diner named Avanthi right below it, and the food here is good. Breakfast is complimentary too. A great option if you don't feel like stepping out and don't wanna go for Zomato/Swiggy.
