Our recent stay at Hotel Holiday Inn, Nashik, was far from satisfactory. Here are the main issues we encountered during our stay:
Reception Staff Shortage: Only one person was handling the entire crowd at reception despite there being space for at least two people. The other receptionist was missing on duty at 9:30 AM.
Misleading Information about Lobby Space: We were told before booking that there would be space to sit and work in the lobby area. However, upon arrival, we learned there was no lobby space at all. We were asked to sit either in the small reception area or in the dining area to do our office work.
Poor Breakfast Quality and Service: The breakfast was extremely disappointing in terms of quality and quantity. The idli, sambhar, and other items were not hot, and there was a shortage of regular food and food attendants. We had to search for someone to clean the messy and dirty tables left by previous guests.
Lack of Bell Boy Service: Despite being allowed to check in around 11:30 AM, we were shocked to find out there was no bell boy service. This is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be 5-star. We had to carry our heavy luggage to the room ourselves, and the keys were handed to us directly.
Small and Poorly Equipped Room: The room was very small, more like a 1RK space. The handwash basin was placed just beside the bed, there was no wardrobe, and both the toilet and shower area were very cramped. We were not provided with sufficient toiletries, towels, or basic items like a brush, toothpaste, and comb, which were mentioned on the site. We had to call the reception multiple times to address these issues.
Non-Functional Coffee Machine: The coffee-making machine in the room was not working.
DIY Service: The hotel operates entirely on a DIY basis with zero customer service.
Poor TV Service: The TV had an Airtel Home DishTV connection, but all HD channels were locked. The TV facility was a waste of time and not as mentioned.
Electricity Issues: There were numerous electricity issues, with no backup support. The electricity got disconnected and fell back 10-15 times over 2 hours.
Wi-Fi Issues: There were frequent Wi-Fi disconnections, making it difficult to stay connected and work.
Overall, our stay was not happy at all, especially considering we paid 14.5k for 3 nights. NOT AT ALL...
Read moreMoney was stolen from my bag in the hotel room. I kept some money deep inside my bag beneath all my clothes, in envelopes which were closed, and $12K Rupees was taken from the envelopes. Reported this thief incident to the hotel management who did a cctv check, waited for more than 2 hours and they told me only me and the house-keeping staff/s have entered my room during the period of my stay, which the staff/s have been with working with them for some time hence will not be considered as suspects. In addition, they told me valuables outside the safe that are found missing are not the hotelâs responsibilities. But the facts are people other than myself DID entered my room and my money which I kept BURIED DEEP in my bag (which was also zipped up properly every time I leave my room) went missing, meaning anyone who has taken my money did searched my bag INTENTIONALLY to take it (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION DUH). I took an extra 2 hours to reach out to the police. The hotel management told me if I wish to make a report I have to go to Indira Nagar police station on my own, which my super helpful driver drove me there and helped to communicate as the police werenât able to converse in English. We were asked to go back to the hotel, two officers arrived and spoke with the hotel management in their language which I wasnât able to understand. After some time the officers went off (they couldnât converse in English even though I tried to ask them what is going on) and the hotel management told me the police said if I want to go back to the station to pursue this matter further I would have to âpay money to proceedâ, which I ended up not being able to get any form of police statement to document this incident. The hotel staffs and management were friendly, food was okay and room was clean, but someone else who has access to my room has went through my belonging intentionally and taken my money. No matter how good the service was, an act of stealing has happened, in this hotel from an internationally renowned hotel chain. I will not choose to...

Upon arrival, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff, who made the check-in process seamless and efficient. The lobby area exuded a sense of sophistication and modernity, setting the tone for the rest of my stay.
The room I stayed in was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring Nashik.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food provided exceeded my expectations, with a range of options to suit every palate. Whether it was the freshly baked pastries or the made-to-order omelettes, every dish was prepared with care and attention to detail.
The hotel's location in Indira Nagar proved to be incredibly convenient, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options. Additionally, the on-site amenities such as the fitness center and business center added to the overall convenience and comfort of my stay.
However, what truly set Holiday Inn Express apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Throughout my stay, every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed, whether it was arranging transportation or providing recommendations for things to do in the area.
Overall, my experience at Holiday Inn Express in Nashik Indira Nagar was nothing short of excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Nashik. I can't wait to return for another visit...
