Hotel Rajshree — Hotel in Nashik

What a pathetic hotel. Last week while I was in Nashik I need a quick place to spend the night. I was with family (my wife n brother in law). My wife was supposed to leave thus I booked room for only 2 people. When we went for the checkin and asked if she can come up to freshen up, the manager at the counter said only 2 people allowed inside; to which I agreed and asked my BIL to stay downstairs until his sis comes back. To which the management said, if she goes up for even 5 minutes, they won't let my BIL stay. IT WAS LADIES WASHROOM EMERGENCY which I tried to convince but couldn't crack through hard skull of Ganesh Giri. He was persistent that I have to book second room even if its for 5 minutes.

In no hope of cooperation, I book another room for my BIL and my wife decided to stay. After confirming booking the hotel staff denied the room saying that all the rooms are full, they've only one room left and they can give extra mattress which will cost additional. I PAID full for 2 ROOMS, they offered me 1 ROOM w/ MATTRESS w/ EXTRA COST.

It was not allowed to send 1 extra person upstairs in the afternoon, but it was okay to add extra mattress in the evening since hotel was full. Bending rules as per own convenience.

When I tried speaking through MakeMyTrip the reception wouldn't pickup their call, I had to hand over my phone to them. It took over 3 hours in argument w/ MMT on call (8pm to past 11pm) just to get my refund so I can book another hotel.

Visited this hotel to relax for a bit as we had train in the evening from Nashik during a round trip to Mumbai. I had an extremely bad experience. We asked the receptionist if we can have an AC room and these guys asked us for Certificate to prove that we are married though I told them we are family. When asked for AC room price, they asked for an exorbitant rate which didn't reflect online. I don't think these guys were ever trained to be in hotel service industry. Eventually me and my wife mutually decided not to book this hotel because these guys seem shady and mannerless. I rarely give a bad review but I would recomend not to stay here and waste your money.
