Gold Crest Business Hotel — Hotel in Navi Mumbai

Sharing the pros & cons of my experience during the 2 week stay.

Pros:

1. Nice rooms
2. Cordial house keeping staff
3. Breakfast is decent although Rs 200 is a big steep but given its a buffet, no arguments here.
4. for whoever is seeking a hotel with a central location, this is it.

Cons:

1. The entry of the hotel is not great at all perhaps due to a local liquor store being right by the entrancd.
2. electricity earthing issue in the room, i got electric shock twice.
3. rooms were infested with cockroaches
4. Guests are not allowed in the room (as if everyone has only one buisness inside) my colleague had to provide his ID to get the access after insisting.
5. They don't permit outside food given the fact that even 5 stars don't have restrictions.
6. When I called for ice to have my cold shake, one of the staff actually came to check the reason i called for it before the ice was delivered to me. (Assuming that I was having liquor, which apparently is not allowed inside the room) that too I was billed Rs 42, which I objected too , later they waived it off.
7. when I asked for bigger room they provided me with extra cash with no receipt at all when asked the manager he straight said we won't provide the bill.
8. parking is a big issue , so if you are driving your vehicle there , think through in case of longer stay.
9. while I was checking out , the managers were so occupied in speaking to each other that they provided no assistance at all & clearly ignored that a guest is exiting the hotel premises.

The Hotel looks good from outside and inside the restaurant. It was just a family dinner so dont know about the quality of rooms. The food was okay type can't say "Wow". We ordered Chicken Tandoori, chicken Kalimirch, veg spring roll, crispy chicken, ChickenTriple schezwan, Burnt Garlic rice and in beverages lime soda and Hot bevg.

We gave full order but told in advance that we will be having starter than when we are ready can serve the main course but inspite of informing they made main course and served without even asking us which was truly disappointment.

Their veg spring roll was totally distasteful. Chicken Triple shezwan was bland total failure. The Half portion of Chicken Tandoori was not satisfied it was only four small in small plate. Only liked chicken kalimirch and crispy chicken an average food.

If you ask me about Pros: Good thing about hotel is the look of restaurant is good plus price is little less. We are not going next time to this restaurant as it ruined our...

We stayed at this hotel in February 2025 for 3 nights. It is located in CDB convenient for tourists. Restaurant, shopping, BTS, entertainments are all within walking distance. No waster of time encountered. It was a pleasant experience where we were upgraded to suite room for free. The Concierge staff was really great. Really superb hospitality from Irene and Gy and others I forgot their name. Warm feeling. They kept filling my wine glass until I told them to stop. Food is fanstactic where variety is plentiful. Door man is very attentive as if they knew we are coming including elevator. I also met their GM in Club lounge, Robert W who is really a genuine GM and a pleasure to chat with.
