The staff tries really hard and are very nice, the foods ok and won't kill you (plus is cooked to order and the prices are not too bad), it's near the airport, and the Wi-Fi is decent. That's about where the good stuff ends.
Wile the food was ok, there is no breckfest buffet. You just order off the same menu as the room service, and wait for it to be cooked. They also have a 10% service charge and 7% on top of that, adding a decent amont to each thing.
They have the illusion of secerity, with a metal detector that I'm rather certain is not pluged in. Not a huge issue as there is so many guard things on the area that you probibly went thought 2-3 pat downs befor you got here. The rooms lock with a deadbolt and you have the only key at lest.
The websight is incorrecton a lot of details. At checkout we found that the "free bottled water" was limited to one bottle, and "breckfest" included dosnt actuly mean you get breckfest included. It added another 60 USD to our bill, making the cost of this place on par with the better hotles who are at lest more transparent in there costs.
All the photos you can find on it are rendered/shoped so don't expect it to look anything like that. They show new A.Cs in a large bedroom with a bunch of pillows and a throw. The a.c. in my room has browned due to age and pollution, with the filter adhered into the case. Also I'm rather certain a few pigeons live in/on it. I was here during the winter so it wasn't too warm but the pollution is horribule and it helped to filter it a bit.
The bathroom is probibly The worst part. It has a water heater in it, and it works rather well for what it is, but the water pressure is so low that it can't actuly get out of the shower head unkess you open the valve fully. Cold works but only just. In the morning sometimes there will be no water at all, the tolit won't flush, or bugs will start crawling from the drains. The fan in the bathroom also has no screen, so don't leave the door open at night as you are more or less sleeping outside at that point. The shower is also just an open space with a drain, so the tolit is more or less in the shower. The floors are not slanted properly so it does not drain correctly and can get super slippery at times. If you take a shower, expect the entire floor of the bathroom to be wet.
The rooms do have one window, but it's a shaft that looks onto a packed residential street. cars can be heard at all times.
Down the road or across the street are some biger, more modern hotles that might be a better choice but are slightly more expensive. Just slightly thought and that's part of the problume. This place is more of an old motel, but one that did not age well.
I have stayed in similar and worse places but if your use to modern/western hotles its going to be a shock.

Read moreIt's my first time ever leaving a review on something, and I am glad to do it for the Hotel Delhi Aerocity because, even though I had just a night there at the beginning of my trip, the staff went above and beyond to make everything work for me! As a female solo traveler I felt safe from the start, increasingly comfortable, and very well taken of by each one of the very kind and professional staff at the hotel - and no paternalism involved! I could choose between two rooms, both perfectly tidy and clean: wifi worked all *, hot water came immedialy. Dinner and breakfast had plenty of veggie options, and were mind-blowing delicious! Plus, when the driver booked by my following destination didn't show up, they helped me call them and re-arrange another transfer very quickly and with no drama. If you come from the airport, do provide your driver with the video of the directions they'll send you upon booking: the place is on the left about 300mt after the Radisson Blu. There are a couple of hotels with similar names (like adding "Inn" at the end) on the same road before getting there: keep going! Also - but this is a general tip for travelers - bring earplugs because planes keep departing and landing until late, and the road nearby is quite busy. Have...
Read moreTitle: A Mediocre Experience
I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my overall experience was less than satisfactory. While there were a few positive aspects, they were overshadowed by several disappointments.
Firstly, the room cleanliness was subpar. I noticed dust on various surfaces and the bathroom could have used a thorough cleaning. It left me questioning the attention to detail in their housekeeping.
Secondly, the noise level was a major issue. The thin walls allowed for noise from neighboring rooms to easily penetrate and the bustling of cars making it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. The lack of soundproofing seriously impacted the quality of my stay.
On a positive note, the hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to the airport. Additionally, the staff members were quite friendly, although their service lacked the promptness and efficiency I expected.
In summary, while this hotel had a few redeeming qualities, the issues with cleanliness and noise made my stay less enjoyable than anticipated. I would recommend exploring other accommodation options in the area before...
