NYC Restaurant — Restaurant in New Delhi

My lunch experience at NYC Radisson was a series of disasters one after the other. The only saving grace was taste of the food. I entered the hotel and there was no parking available. Valet staff said it is reserved for "visitors". Well, how was I not a visitor? The only option given to me was a paid valet. We waited for 5 solid minutes at the restaurant desk till somebody got available to attend to us, she was completely clueless about bookings and had us wait for another 5 minutes till the manager could check our booking and seat us. We booked for a lunch buffet but were told that they were having a Brunch on Saturday instead and we'll have to pay extra for it, we agreed. The soft drinks in brunch were coke and limca, not even joking. I asked if there was something better available, mocktails or juices but unfortunately it was only these 2-3 aerated cold drinks. 5. Size of the buffet was medium, I've seem much bigger spreads in much cheaper restaurants. Vegetarian options were very limited, if you are one then you can skip this place. Whatever limited option were there were fantastic in taste, not one dish that was not delicious. This was the best thing about the buffet. The service staff was either clueless or inattentive. Any request made on the table other than getting more water was not fulfilled. I've had 10 times better service at Barbeque Nation. Ambience is just little above average. Live music was nice. They add 10% service charge. My bill for two adults and one child was 10,000 rupees. Out of which 1,000 was for the "brunch" soft drinks, which we never had, becuase it was limca, coke, etc. The value of this buffet, even for a radisson is no more than 1,200 rupees but it was 4,000 per person. The valet was very patronizing.

Overall, I'd not visit again and would not recommend you do either....

NYC It's always a pleasure to be there. The hospitality is what makes me visit you always and without a second thought. This time it was abit more special for me as I was there to bring a smile in other 8 beautiful soul's life and that's the team I work with. I could be their boss but without them I am not complete. I also got to see him as he would visit our table frequent and help us with our needs. Aqib we missed you and your great hospitality. Kim was so kind. Sumit I do see you bringing your experience from JW Marriot and displaying it here and with generosity. If I have not forgotten his name "Ankush Kataria" thank you for tolerating us the entire time we were there and allowing us explore the pool side, use the lounge to sit and relax. Amazing taste of every dish with fusion taste of North Indian and subtle continental.

Service was amazing and special thanks to a women named started by K ( I forgot the name) She assisted us every minute and customised some dishes as per our kid choices.

Well about Buffet brunch costing 3200 inclusive of all taxes and soft drinks.

Buffet 1.Chaat ( the old Delhi chaat counter ) 1.1 Gol Gappe 1.2 Bhel Puri 1.3 Dahi Bhalle & Papdi They were purely authentic Purani Delhi type ( Loved it )

Soup ( Veg & Non Veg ) with 6 types of assorted breads and butter.

We wanted Tomato Dhaniya Shorba and restaurant did it on our request

3 Snacks ( 3 Veg & 3 Non Veg ) Best one we liked - Cigar roles and Dahi kababs

Paasta and French fries were awesome White Pasta on special request and it was very well prepared.

Noodles , Fried rice were amazing

Salad Counter ( 6 veg and 5 Non Veg )

Salad dressings with Pita and hummus ( 5-6 types ).

Main Course ( Lots of Variety ) & taste very well as per north indian / Continental / oriental 8.1 - 8 Veg items ( Dal Factory was named on Dal Makhani & Paneer was best ) 8.2 - 5 Non Veg 8.3 - 2 Dahi and Raita 8.4 - 3 types of Rice 8.5 Assorted breads as per ur choice.
