DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL - To summarize the incident happened in that hotel. We first booked Hotel le mont which we got a message that it was renamed to Hotel Krone. Meanwhile we were chatting to the hotel via email asking for room, cab service for everything we got a reply as well.The hotel was booked for two elderly couple (63 and 55 - A heart patient and a physically challenged person). We arranged taxi from the hotel to airport and when they somehow managed to find the taxi driver, he did not even know the hotel name or the hotel address. After 20 min struggle he found the address (we spoke from abroad through phone all the time to make him understand) and he took them to Krone hotel. When my father asked the reception, the person in the counter said the hotel is full and you can go to the next hotel which is very nearby - all of this happening to this couple at 10 PM in the night. The taxi driver took them to the next hotel (The name of the hotel is Marina) which was very similar to a pathetic hostel where no one understands even one word of english. They could not understand any single thing which my parents said and gave them a room in the 2nd floor where there is no elevator service. Any person with a little common sense would not have done that for a physically challenged person and a senior citizen. Then they fought for 40 minutes and got a room in ground floor. After entering that room they found out that running water is not working and they took 20 minutes to fix that. The parallel incident which happened among all this confusion was CHEATING. The manager of the hotel paid the taxi driver 450 rs in front of my dad and asked my dad to give him 650 rs and said that is the amount he gave for the taxi and also he cancelled that driver to come next day morning to pick them to the airport. He did this on purpose so that my parents have to depend on the hotel for the morning taxi but we arranged an Uber instead. This is one of the horrible and worst incidents ever to happen for any person in this world, treating the couple (open heart surgery and physically challenged person) in this way on the middle of the night. One hotel with three different names. Hotel Krone on Agoda, Hotel Caves on the board and Hotel Le Mount on the keys. Poorly maintained, badly designed washrooms that have a whole pillar in centre. Only good thing about the room was the Mattress and Linen which looked as if they were recently changed. There was not enough passage between the bed and the wall to move around. The staff is the worst. They try to scam by saying that they can’t find the booking and the payment and ask you to cancel with Agoda. I was mentally prepared for this because of the pretty cheap price only and went ahead with a call to the costumer care which after a 20-25 minute long convo told me that the hotel has agreed to accommodate you. I was again ready for the next part where the staff would start whining so I myself broke the ice and said you want extra money just ask for it and paid them an extra 500 to shut them up. After a while one of them asks me if I can give him my mobile cause there’s something that he needs from me. He was trying to add a fake review on Google Maps from my phone. I realised it after he asked me to turn my location off. Since it was an iPhone he was not very familiar with the usage and I shrugged my shoulders that I don’t know as well. Only then he backed off.
