Rating: 1/5 Title: Extremely Unsafe, Poorly Managed, and Zero Hospitality – Stay Away from Hotel Park Tree (Prithvi Palace Wing)
I had an extremely disturbing and disappointing stay at Hotel Park Tree near IGI Airport. I booked this hotel expecting at least basic comfort and courtesy, but what I encountered was nothing short of shocking — particularly as a solo female traveler.
Staff Behavior – Unfriendly, Intimidating, and Aggressive
The person managing the reception desk is completely unprofessional. From the moment I interacted with him, his tone was rude, arrogant, and hostile. If you raise a genuine concern, he responds not with help, but with aggression and disturbing body language. His stares were intimidating, and it genuinely felt unsafe to even approach him after one conversation. This is not hospitality — this is harassment. The staff definitely had anger issues. I am not sure how the hiring of staff happens there is no professionalism and totally hostile environment.
There was no courtesy, no apology, and absolutely no willingness to help. The person getting frustrated everytime I am raising an issue and give me a cold stare.
Room Conditions – AC Not Working, Poor Hygiene
Despite booking and paying for an AC room, the air conditioner never worked. I raised the issue multiple times — each time I was either ignored or falsely assured someone would look into it. No one ever came. I had to sleep in heat with just a fan even after paying for AC.
They offered to shift me to another room — but that was in a dark, isolated corner of the property with a foul-smelling washroom. The room was dingy, and clearly not meant for guests. Given that I was a female solo traveler, I felt extremely uncomfortable and vulnerable, especially with men drinking and playing loud music in nearby rooms later at night with their doors open. I refused the shift, but they still did nothing to fix my original room.

Check-In Delay – No Respect for Timings
Check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM, but I only received a room after 5:00 PM. That too, not the room I had booked. When I highlighted this, I was met with argumentative and dismissive behavior. The management showed no intention to help or make amends.

Cleanliness – Below Acceptable Standards
The hygiene level in the room and bathroom was very poor. Dust, stains, and a dirty washroom awaited me. I had to ask multiple times for the room to be cleaned — something that should be standard and pre-arranged before a guest even checks in. The towels were old, and the bedsheets looked unwashed.

Breakfast – Poor Quality and Unhygienic
The complimentary breakfast was another letdown. • Eggs tasted stale, clearly not fresh. • Watermelon was overripe and had gone soggy. • Limited options and poor hygiene made me avoid eating much at all. They clearly cut corners on food quality. You will get sick so avoid.

No Compensation, No Accountability
Despite paying for an AC room and not getting what I was promised, no refund or compensation was offered. They didn’t even bother with a simple apology. Their solution was to push me into an unsafe, substandard room — which I had no choice but to reject for my own safety.

This place is a disaster for anyone looking for even basic hospitality, safety, and cleanliness. It is especially unsuitable for solo travelers — and I can’t imagine how families would feel in such a hostile, mismanaged environment.
I would NEVER recommend Hotel Park Tree or Prithvi Palace to anyone. There are far better options near the airport for the same price or even less.

I stayed at Hotel Park Tree for a business trip, expecting a smooth and professional experience — but it turned out to be one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had.
❌ False Advertising & Room Downgrade
I had booked a premium room through MakeMyTrip, clearly listed with specific amenities and comfort standards. However, upon arrival, I was handed a standard room that was completely different from the images and description. The room was dull, lacked basic upkeep, and had no premium features whatsoever.
❌ Unbearable Room Conditions
The room had a strong, foul odor that made it difficult to stay in. It was obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned or sanitized. Despite raising the issue, no air freshener or cleaning service was provided. This shows a complete lack of hygiene and basic hospitality.
❌ Unprofessional Staff
The front desk staff was dismissive, and completely unhelpful, There was zero customer service, and no one seemed interested in addressing guest issues.
❌ Misleading Listings
Nothing in the hotel matched the descriptions and images shown on the booking platform- Make My Trop. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic to lure in customers. I had trusted the details on MakeMyTrip, but the reality was far from it. Not even a single point matched to the promises made by the booking platform.
⚠️ Safety Concerns
I wouldn’t consider this hotel safe for solo travelers, especially female guests. The overall environment felt sketchy adds to the discomfort.
