Our experience at Hotel Urban Tree, booked through Goibibo, was extremely disappointing. We encountered numerous issues during our stay from December 14th to 15th.
Upon checking in, we found the rooms (401 and 402) to be unclean, with dirty closets and no bathroom water. We reported these issues to the reception, and the receptionist came to resolve them. However, he was unable to correct the issues and changed our rooms to 101 (first floor) and 001 (ground floor). Unfortunately, the new rooms also had no water.
We complained again and asked for cancellation through Goibibo. After a one-hour interaction with Goibibo, the receptionist called a plumber, who took an hour to repair the bathroom pipes. We waited at the reception for two hours to enter our rooms, which caused us to cancel our evening plans to visit Sarojini Nagar Market.
The bathroom water flow was slow, taking eight minutes to fill one bucket. After one bucket, there was no hot water. The towels were dirty, and there was no soap or drinking water provided in the room. The bathroom drainage was also poor, causing water to accumulate.
We were also disappointed with the hotel's policy of charging for water bottles. They provided four water bottles on the first day and another four on the second day but charged us Rs 176 at check-out without prior notice.
The hotel's Wi-Fi connection was poor, with a download speed of 600 kbps, making it difficult to load web pages.
Finally, the hotel staff failed to provide a taxi for our airport drop, despite our booking and confirmation. We had to rush to book another taxi, almost missing our flight. The hotel's display notice mentioned an airport drop service for around Rs 350, but they failed to deliver.
Our experience with Hotel Urban Tree and Goibibo was extremely unsatisfactory, and we would not recommend this...
Read morePlease be cautious and do not be misled by positive reviews, as they appear to be either paid or manipulated. We stayed at this hotel in December 2024, and it was undoubtedly one of the worst experiences we've had:
Unhygienic Toilets: The toilets were dirty and unhygienic. (Unable to post proof pics as my review is not getting posted if I attach)
Poor Bathroom Facilities: There was no proper drainage in the bathroom, making it extremely unpleasant to use.
Lack of Basic Amenities: No complimentary hygienic water bottles were provided in the room. Guests are expected to use a common water vending machine located in the basement.
4.Unprofessional and Deceptive Staff Behavior:
When we requested water bottles, the staff failed to inform us that they were chargeable. However, we were asked to pay for them, including tax, upon checkout.
While booking a taxi to the airport (quoted at Rs. 350), the staff refused to provide a receipt. Instead, they behaved rudely, saying, "Do you want the taxi or not?" and even suggested, "Book your own taxi," fully aware of our urgency to reach the airport in 30 minutes.
For anyone considering this hotel, especially if traveling with family, we strongly advise against it. This review is not out of personal vendetta but a genuine attempt to prevent others from enduring a...

I booked this hotel on booking.
I wrote to this hotel and it took them many hours to respond. This made me doubt the hotel and the reservation.
When I arrived at the airport, a taxi driver supposedly calls the hotel and says that it is too late and the hotel is closed, and they take us to another hotel that costs three times the normal price.
Hours later, once we are at the scam hotel, we contact Urban Tree again and at that moment, they do confirm the reservation. So we think everyone is in cahoots.
Urban tree should report these scams, like other hotels do. You should notify your guests that the reservation is confirmed and respond quickly to guests.
This hotel does not respond to messages quickly and raises doubts about the reservation. Finally, the guests do not arrive at the hotel, Urban Tree collects the money, but they do not provide the service. In that way, this hotel is part of the scam.

If were been nice of you to advise to your guest about this scam if you know that we will arrive late in the night and it take hours to activate the SIM card.
If you don’t take part in this situation, that is injustice, means that you have chosen the...
