My friend and I booked 2 rooms at this hotel. It was our last night in India, and this was the only hotel we had a problem with in our 6 week trip to India and Sri Lanka!||||We booked through Agoda - never had a problem with this site, and it was not their fault, actually, I have filed a complaint against this hotel with them, but, Agoda were told by them that we were a 'no show!' a complete lie! ||||We were tired after travelling back to Delhi from Sri Lanka, we had a 1 night stay in Delhi before catching our flight home the next day. We booked several days in advance and were relived to have booked it. However, when we arrived we were told that we did not have any booking with them, they were very rude and unhelpful, they kept saying that this is Agoda's problem, and that if I had any complaints, I can call Agoda instead, I was unable to do this without a local SIM card or internet, they refused to help in any way, and just said that they do not have a room for us. ||||There were many people in the reception, and I spoke to a local who was waiting in the reception who spoke Hindi and tried to help us as we were stood there stranded with our bags and nowhere to stay, on the verge of tears. He told us that (since he could understand Hindi and what the staff were saying), that a large group had come in, and were paying more money, so they gave our rooms to them. This is so unprofessional! ||||Are there no consequences? They are completely untrustworthy and unsympathetic. We were completely inconvenienced. Luckily, the local helped us to drag our suitcases from hotel to hotel until we could find a spare room,...

We booked our hotel via Hotel.com, and on our check-in day at 10 PM they refused us a room. They claimed to have no booking and not received any money — even though we had booked the room two weeks in advance with ample time for everything to be confirmed.
🚩 They even refused to confirm this incident in writing.
When we got back to England the next day, we raised this with Hotels.com, and they contacted the hotel to confirm the incident.
🚩 The hotel now claimed we stayed the night! Which was completely false and refused to refund the money.
Luckily I remembered that in India it's mandatory to collect copies of passports and sign them with a date, and submit the same on a government website. I asked them to provide this as proof of stay if, and the next day we got our refund.

Read moreThis was the 4th hotel with 4 stars during my travels in India and the only one that doesn’t deserve 4 stars. The room and bathroom were clean and had enough space. The place is close to the airport which is why I booked it. That is all the positive things I can say. Cons are: There was no toilet paper, no water, no slippers, no hairdryer. I got toilet paper, water and a hairdryer after asking for it. The hairdryer smelled like food when switched on and they picked it up after 1.5 hours waking me up as I went to bed early due to an early flight. The bed sheets looked not clean and worn out. The wall to the hallway was so thin and poorly soundproofed that you could hear people walking and talking in the hallway or switching on the light in the room next door. Once my AirPods ran out of battery, I was awake at midnight due to the noise after just 3.5h of sleep. I would never again stay...
