I visited the restaurant on October 14th, 2021 with high hopes as it used to be the best restaurant of Balasore once upon a time. I visited the restaurant after more than a decade carrying the impression from the past, but I felt bad about the state of affairs the restaurant is as on date. Firstly, one person was catering to around 7-8 tables, which may be a temporary problem due to staff being on leave for Durga Puja. Before us, 3-4 groups of people left due to delay in attending to them, some of them shouting out of frustration. The people who took a chance with their luck left the restaurant saying we would never visit again. We managed to finish the starters, though reluctantly. But the food items we ordered under the main course was pathetic. Fried rice tasted like roadside food joint, even the chicken item was below average and no better than a roadside restaurant. We did not dare to eat the entire food and left it over. Totally wasted our time and money and spoiled our mood completely. While paying the bill, we called the manager, not sure if he was actually the manager and scolded him. We told him please shut down the restaurant instead of giving pain to the customers. Their prices are no less than a fine dining restaurant, but they are serving very bad quality food.
