Stayed at this hotel twice last year for a couple of days each. Used this hotel to accommodate out of town relatives attending a family wedding.||||This property contains a bar and restaurant, a banquet hall and a hotel. Parking is not dedicated and bang on the road. The stairs leading to the banquet hall and the hotel is a bit slippery and non-confidence-inspiring.||They have strict rules about NOT letting rooms out to young couples. But I did see rooms let out to bachelor groups.||The overall environment leans towards a shady establishment - but is not really.||||Service:||Service in our experience was good. ||This being an extension of a well performing restaurant, Service is not a full fledged department. There is a spartan team doubling up as everyone and everything. This leads to fumbles many times but allows for a large extent of personalization. Depends on your luck.||Housekeeping cleans the rooms very well. Bed linen and towels are clean. ||In room dining is provided for by the attached restaurant. So during peak hours could be delayed. Also the in room service is time limited. 8 AM - 11 PM. The food is good - bordering on delicious even. The quantities are good too.||Tea in the morning in procured from another hotel nearby and needs to be paid for in cash.||The Manager is sometimes the receptionist and the cashier. I've seen him do two straight 24 hour shifts.||Car washing and guarding done by the Security chaps. They do lock up the hotel entrance at night - so if you are travelling late, you'd need them to open up the doors.||||Room:||Rooms are decently large. A large double bed with comfortable mattresses. An LCD TV with mostly Indian channels available. The bathroom has a tub with running hot water. The ACs are decent and cools the rooms quickly enough. A couple of wooden sofas provided in a corner. ||Packed water bottles are provided daily.||||Location & amenities:||This is right in the middle of Khanda colony. Very near the Khanda colony side exit of the Khanda railway crossing road bridge. Near to the Khanda Colony junction. 10 mins to Panvel or Khandeshwar stations. 10 mins to the start of the Mumbai Pune Expressway.||||Best liked:||Clean rooms. Food taste.||||Least liked:||A pervading sense of insecurity. (I put it down to my lack of trust in strangers)||||Its a value for money hotel. Not at all expensive - in a very...
Read moreUsed to be one of the best in Panvel but past few years it's going down a bit in taste and also service. I've dine in nd took delivery of their food. My worse experience was when I order fried rice and some starter and he messed up and brought noddles with some soup. And they ask to pay for it. So yeah you might get forced to pay for someone else food. So keep a recording while ordering the food. Worse experience of delivery when their delivery boy used to give wrong amount as they don't show or give you the bill. Once I just asked him to show the bill and he hesitated a lot then I saw that he was asking for 20-30 rs extra on bill. So after such scam I stopped ordering. The owner has to be careful about such activities. And this came in light when the guy who took order said the amount 260 and the delivery guy asked for 290. Before this I was...
Read moreHotel Khandesh Residency in Khanda Colony, New Panvel, offers a pleasant dining experience with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is relaxed, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a comfortable spot for families, friends, and casual meet-ups. The staff are courteous and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. The food here is flavorful and satisfying, with popular dishes like hot pan chicken, biryani, chicken Kolhapuri, and mushroom Schezwan noodles often praised by customers. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality served. Dine-in experiences are smooth and enjoyable. However, it remains a solid choice in Panvel for tasty North Indian, Mughlai, and Chinese food in a...
