Hotel Harbans Residency — Hotel in Patiala

Hotel is located at 10 mins auto ride from station. It's a simple building. The location is a bit awkward for auto commuters.We chose this hotel for the rate they offered. Only a few staffs are there to manage things. Don't expect any extras.. Check in was quick. Rooms were surprisingly spacious and well done. One room had a good view of adjacent garden also. Kind of airy and sunny. The linens were just ok.And these are the only good things the hotel has to offer. Washroom is small and suffocating. Reception should be more concerned about its guests and their needs. Breakfast is terrible. It's there because it has to be given. Painstakingly slow, have "one egg/ person" kind of approach. One of the worst hotels I could possibly book! the room i booked was not up to my expectations. the bathrooms are small. the most problematic thing was that that the AC was not working. i tried to contact the reception many times but no one picked my phone. nor the room service picked the phone!!! i went to the reception two floors down to ask if they could lower the Ac temperature but no one bothered and they simply refused to do so! i don't know why they weren't lowering the temperature. at the restaurant i had to wait for around 15 minutes for the waiter to take my order. and to order more roti I had to wait for even more!!! the food was getting cold.
