The Garden Resort — Restaurant in Patiala

Recently I booked a deluxe room for 2 days at this place. First day they didn't had the deluxe room available so they upgraded me to there super deluxe room. And next day they asked me to shift my room to deluxe room saying that they have to give that room to someone else, which was a lie because no one booked that room. First of all if I am booking the room for 2 days I will like to start in the same room for both days. If room was not available it's not my mistake and they shouldn't have taken the booking at the first place. Second the geyser of that room was not working. Third washroom wasn't clean and even after asking them multiple times to clean they didn't cleaned it. Fourth they had the worst room service. I ask them for a water bottle and a bed sheet and even after calling them 3-4 times I didn't receive it. Lastly I had to go to the reception myself and ask them to deliver those things to my room. Fifth there rooms are really really small so please keep that in mind before booking. I booked there hotel from goibibo. Just want to say that never to book non- refundable room from goibibo for saving few bucks because it gonna hurt you...

Visited your place on 1st September 2018 for dinner with family. Among the dishes on order, Murg Massalam was one of the dishes. But the presentation was a bit of an unpleasant shock. It appeared as if chicken tikka Massala has been served on a bed of equally spicy rice. This was not expected from a Restaurant of such a long and high standing.

Sir, Murg Massalam is a whole chicken cooked stuffed with meat mince,boiled eggs, dry fruit and khoya or paneer among the spices and seasoning.

If you wish to continue with your Murg Massalam in the present style, kindly rename it- suffix your name and make it Murg Massalam Garden Resort special, it can be your signature dish . But kindly do not distort and change the name and nature of a popular dish with a History.

The dining experience was very good otherwise and “Murg Massalam “ was delicious presentation notwithstanding as are all the dishes cooked and served by You.

The Garden resort is a below average hotel. Detailed points are as under During check in they were not aware of the booking. After checking up they told no super deluxe room is available but when told about refunding the amount and why did they not check up earlier one room was made available. Room service deserves zero star as they are very short of staff and doesn't pay any attention to any person staying there. more inclined towards their restaurant clientele Food is good as the delicacies are good. I want a special mention of Mr harinder Singh samant a steward at their restaurant. He is extremely immpolite and is not having courteous attitude towards the customers. no feedback or suggestion register available.

In short, please don't book this hotel for stay and for food yes a try...
