LP Regency, Pune — Hotel in Pune

Me and my 2 friends were there with our kids for a chess tournament for 5 days. It was my worst experience ever. The day we reached check in took almost 2 hours. The rooms given to us were not cleaned.. AC was not working...bathrooms r the size of a matchbox...bedsheets and pillowcovers are dirty and torn...corridoors r filthy.Finally we checked in and were promised better rooms for next day. Next morning breakfast was so chaotic. There was no buffet spread and we needed to order. They took almost an hour after standing on their heads. Since we were there for a tournament we couldn't get late. Many didn't have breakfast and left. In the afternoon they gave me a bigger room but they didn't clean it and there was no dustbin. Then when I tried connecting to the wifi they said technical issue in that floor. In the night Mr Manoj the manager calls us at 9:30 to come and make the payment. I put across my problems and he was acting so busy and assured me everything will be taken care of. Till 10:30 in the night I kept asking for a dustbin and finally he comes with a plastic flowerpot. I called Mr Manoj and he was like don't shout we will arrange. As payment was made he didn't bother to look into anything. No wifi was repaired and to top it the lift got spoilt and we had to take stairs till 5th floor. I will not suggest this hotel to anyone. They r overcharging and not giving proper services. There is no cleanliness and the manager only keeps promising things as if we r there for a month. They only sweet talk and don't do anything. Worst hotel ever. Don't trust Gayatri and Manoj for anything. They have used all low grade stuff so everything keeps getting damaged and there is no...

!!PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOTEL!!

(1) If you are booking online, they are sure to deny your booking, and ask for Rs. 500-800 extra. There are two receptionists, both equally incompetent in their own ways. They cannot even agree to decide on the extra price they want to ask their customers. Basically nalayak(useless). One receptionist (Bageshri) is totally unprofessional and rude, and refuses to put you in touch with any hotel manager/regional manager (the reason for this is illustrated in the next point).

(2) This hotel is not legally allowed to open its premises yet!! This is the reason they will not acknowledge any transactions, and constantly try to deflect the real reason they are refusing to do so. They try to put the entire blame on Oyo, saying its policy but it is very shady to deny a receipt of transaction and it is not in any hotel policy of anyplace. It honestly seemed like a 5 year old senseless child, trying to put the blame on somebody else without admitting that they’re not strictly legal.

Try to avoid this hotel at all costs. The rooms might look appealing, but the hassle is not worth it. It is also not safe for girls, given that they don’t acknowledge any transaction you do with them, in case something happens to you, there will be no proof of you staying there at all. This is a very, very shady hotel. Honestly seems like a Mafia gang is operating this rather than a hotel chain, given that it is impossible to track their managers. Avoid...

I was looking for a one day stay near kondhwa and this came in my recommendation and it dint disappoint. Location wise its really quiet and pleasant than the main city! you can easily take an auto or cab till here Amazing ambience and well maintained place! Service was very prompt. The receptionist and infact all their stafff were very co operative and welcoming. Rooms were cozy and spacious with all the basic amenities and hygiene was definitely remarkable. since i was too tired to hunt for a place to eat ,i thought i would try their menu and it was definitely a treat for my taste buds:-p I tried their following dishes Veg manchurian-5/5😍(my personal fav) Veg shabnam-4/5 and alfredo pasta-4.5/5 So you can always just hit this place for some good vegetarian food. I also ordered cold coffee which was a little too sweet for me but thats just an indivudual preference! Also this place has a banquet hall where you can organise your events.
