Kitabi Chai Cafe and Book Store — Restaurant in Pune

So while visiting Pune, I happened to come across this cafe. The only reason, I gave this cafe a chance was cause of the vibe and ambience, not to forget the chai!!

Well the books did attract me a little but then my laziness won over the me opening a book and reading, so I just hung around to just sit & watch the view!!! They have different varieties of Tea which would make you try it all...!

The ambience is peaceful and relaxing and this place is visited by many youngsters (so there is no chance you gonna end up feeling awkward). The people around are very friendly and warm!

While conversing with people in here, I got to know that this place hold open mics and casual performances given by talents and all these factors makes you love this place more and make you feel like as cosy as your home!!

They say that not all the time can you escape, well I all I can say is that this visit to KitabiChai definitely was like the best escape from the chaos of your monotonous life!!

Where should I start to share my experience and memories about this place, been a regular visitor you can say Second home for me, where you have such friendly vibe created by owner Gitika such a pleasant personality and friendly with everyone. For me this place has everything like workspace to do your work or studies, chill with your friends and can meet lot of new young and all age people who can become friends and of course lot of books from all range and interest areas if you like to read or don't you will surely start reading. Food here is awesome and has lot of varieties to choose from specially I like hot/cold coffee and tea here. You should must try Indore Poha here.

Goodbye Amazon, hello Kitabi Chai. Ok, so if you are ever looking for a long cherished book at a price rate that suits your pocket, Kitabi Chai is your go to team. I am yet to see a local shop give such amazing service.

And did I mention their actual cafe? It is amazing! For a workaholic who needs a 'me space' to zone out the world during work hours, it's a true physical haven of sorts. The wifi is great and there are umpteen nooks and corners to snuggle in to with your laptop, a very tall glass of your favorite beverage, say goodbye to the world around you and get to work.
