Flagship Jagannath Heritage — Hotel in Puri

The hotel was very dirty with the surrounding, corridors, varanda (balcony) and rooms too. The care taker of hotel had cleaned after telling about it, but still flys were flying most of the places. It could be due to rainy day, still leftover food shouldn't be kept anywhere they want.--this can be controlled as it is in their hands. Regarding property, yes switches , TV and door locked were't properly functioning. This needs to be improved. As other pics in review section did misguide me to choose this hotel. I am forced to post this review. No doubt the price was too less, if that is the only concern then yes one can go for it. But if one want service and good property to spend holiday then I may not have choosen it i such review was there befor my stay. I stayed at OYO 22561 Somnath Resthouse for 7 days, and frankly speaking i can tell you my real experience.

1. LOCATION :- This hotel is way inside puri, dont expect it to be close to the main beach, you will have to walk atleast 3kms to reach the main beach, consider this. In my opinion rent a scooty, otherwise you will have to walk a lot.

2. OYO Complimentry Breakfast :- Dont expect a variety of breakfast in this hotel, they always give the same puri sbzi as breakfast.

The room in which I stayed had pathetic AC, it was not cooling at all, and finally it broke at midnight, I had to change my room at the midnight, considering all this there are better hotels in puri, go for them.

Very cooperative staff. I saw many reviews where people are saying that's it's very far away from the beach which is not the case at all. It is 3 mins away from the beach but is far away from the crowded part of the beach where there is a lot of garbage and lights and shops. The beach near this hotel is clean and not crowded at all. You can really enjoy the view from there. If you want a calm place to sit down and watch the sea, this is the best place for you. If you want to go to a beach which is full of people and shops, you need to walk a bit towards the other parts...
