Horrible experience. I booked 3 rooms via Booking.com.com for 6 of us at a good price. The reviews mentioned the site were apparently good. However, upon reaching the spot, the reality was different. The rooms were very small, none of the TVs and geysers worked in any of the rooms. Health faucets and flushing mechanism wasn't working for 2 rooms out of 3. Despite multiple reminders, they didn't bother to repair it. There were frequent powercuts without adequate power backup (btw, AC didn't work on power backup). The front office guy was extremely casual, rude and unprofessional in his approach to customer service. Our return train was at 1.50pm on 7th Sep, but they forced us to book a room as we had to stay beyond 8am, even though we checked in pretty late at around 2.30pm on 5th Sep. We requested them for a consideration on this but they were adamant. Since we had senior citizens and a toddler, we had no other option but to comply. They even went to the extent of posting a fake positive review by my name on Booking.com, as I have given no such review from my end and denied any wrongdoing when I confronted them later after reaching home, which has been escalated to Booking.com for further investigation. I would strongly recommend people to stay away from this place being run by a bunch of incompetent people who are nothing less than frauds and not get swayed by the reviews you see on any travel portal - they are all fabricated and probably false.

Perhaps the only pro is, it is located very close to the beach (less than 5 mins) with the beach being visible from some of the rooms and the 5th...

Pathetic room. Our bed was swamped with ants, had to ask staff to change bedsheet, and their reaction was “do we have to change bedsheet ?” Jet spray in one room was damaged and the other one didn’t had one altogether. They installed one after we checked in to the room. The walls of the rooms had a lot of moisture, so much that the entire wall felt like leaking water. The hotel does not provide free water and apparantly they dont even provide towel. When asked for towel, they gave one for 2 people and on the third day of our stay, when we asked for fresh towel, they said we had given you one the day you checked in. After repeated request, they provided one saying this was supposed to be for other guest. The room was not cleaned during our entire stay. Worst of all, while sleeping we observed a sudden flash, the kind we see while taking a picture. Even though after checking we did not find any camera, but we found the hotel extremely fishy and would not recommend anyone. There is no parking and you will have to park in an vacant plat with dogs sleeping, if yoh love your car, you would be worried throughout. There is no restaurant in hotel. The only good this is beach is nearby. Definitely not...

I am reviewing this for Hotel Nilamadhab. As the hotel owner told me he can put me inside the land and nobody will be able to know. He also added that he has so much influence that I along with my family will never be able to leave Puri. This happens because he asked me for cash and I do not have any. He given me a QR code to scan to push 500 rupees there and ANOTHER account to drop the rest of the amount. But I asked him for the other QR code to scan which he failed to provide and I have to scan the earlier QR CODE twice to pay the rest of the amount. Beside he put me in a Ac room where AC was also not working. I am attaching the photo so that people do not make mistake while checking in into hotel having some criminal type of activities. The person who recommended this hotel is the owner of Sitaram guest house, who is a very very good person. And he has no knowledge about this person behavior.
