I am a member of Anand CNI. The CNI of Anand has a Heritage Home in Mount Abu, Briars Heritage Home. It belongs to our Anand CNI. Now, whenever I need a room to stay there, we face a lot of trouble with the money arrangement because they have started charging a very high rent, despite us being a member. Another issue I have is that they give more priority to non-Christian people (people of other faiths). They give them more priority, and us less. We are the proper members, and the Briars Heritage Home belongs to Anand CNI. We, as members, should get priority first, but they are not giving it to us. They are giving it to non-Christians. Secondly, they are more interested in earning money. We are family members of the faith; we are members of the CNI. They still do not give it to us, even though it belongs to Anand CNI. Now, I don't know if they give it to members of other CNI's or not. Another thing is that in other religions—I will not name any specific religion—but in other religions, everyone gets a discount if they need anything. If we need something in our own heritage home, we have to pay on the spot and take it. Now, there is no justice within our own religion and these kinds of problems are currently going on in our CNI in Anand. So, I especially want to inform the Christian community that please pay more attention to this. This is a matter for the Christians, for our society, that we should progress a little in our society. But if things go on like this, then nothing will happen. When we go anywhere to travel, we prioritize our religion's identity. And we do not receive any kind of facility. This is what I specifically wanted to...

Read moreDisappointing Stay at Briars Heritage Retreat, Mount Abu Is My recent stay at Briars Heritage Retreat in Mount Abu was a letdown. The room's bedsheet was unclean, and the overall maintenance was lacking. The staff's behaviour was so bad , felt insincere, and their service was not up to the expectations
The room had noticeable dust on the floor, and the lack of cleanliness was evident. The dustbin was also not cleaned properly, with beer cans and other trash visible. It seemed like there was no effective management in place to ensure a comfortable stay.
To add to the frustration, the staff started calling us for checkout at 8 am, despite the actual checkout time being 11 am. This lack of respect for guests' time was disappointing.
Considering the issues I faced, I wouldn't recommend Briars Heritage Retreat to others. Unless they improve their cleanliness, service standards, and respect for guests' time, it's best to explore other options in Mount Abu.
They call it so-called premium rooms 101 and 104, but both didn’t even had basic cleanliness
