Kiran Guest House — Hotel in Rajasthan

Kiran Guest House is a home stay just 300 meters away from Bharatpur Sanctuary entrance and located in good residential locality that's quiet and green. ||||The prices for accommodation are truly attractive to every wildlife or nature lover tourist who knows well stays are a lot costlier during wildlife trips. ||||Kiran guest house optionally offers dine-in food that we found is home-made and safe given its importance during travel times. We could ask them to pack breakfast and lunches that can be carried inside the park and have it conveniently. The park does not have much food options inside and one can expect only limited packaged food and beverage options. (certainly not recommended) ||||The host of the guest house is also one of the best birding guide to the sanctuary who has exceptional knowledge about the birds and its sightings during varying seasons...

For me Kiran was a real mixed bag. The pluses: Very friendly and helpful family and a great location only 300 meters from the National Park. The minuses: The rooms are quite basic, except for perhaps the one in the front with A/C, but I did not see inside. My room was deluxe and for 500 rupees was excellent value, but needs painting and the electric sockets are failing. The windows are opaque glass which perhaps bothers me more than others. Breakfast was very good. I would like to give 5 stars for the kind, helpful family, but would only give 3 stars for the rooms ( I saw 3 ). The wifi was broken, a monkey trashed the modem, but they made a hotspot with a mobile phone which was...

The room was dirty, and the given blankets smelled of cow and filth. It was full of mosquitos and no net provided! We booked the room by phone after it had been recommended in 'The Lonely Planet', we couldn't check the reviews beforehand, as we stayed in a place where we had no Wifi or internet. On a positive note, it was nice to get a free pick-up from the station to the property. The national park was great and the property is close to it. This was the worst value for money on our whole stay...
