I cannot believe how people are amazed by the places where it’s only decor and showing up.||Decor for outsiders is one thing but best you improve the quality of the service and the rooms.||||When we arrived no one welcomed us (only the guard at the entry. I am reminding, you at first, it’s supposed to be a 4 stars hotel).||||Check in is all about money (paid already online) and check out is inexistant.||||The main house has 12 rooms but not for the guests The guest (the one who desserve all attention for a 4 stars hotel) are in the white old and unequipped one.||||The room are not only basic but uncomfortable (bed too soft, like butter, and not good for sleeping… are you ready for a back pain ? So be prepared…).||Smelly like hospital but white hair everywhere.||||Even the staff are bored. Bar’s employee is clearly pissed off of his job (better he find another job).||Food here is not good and too expensive for what you get, and the service here is, apparently a strange and unknown word for this hotel.||||Heritage doesn’t mean old and cheap furniture from only few years ago but antique fourniture heritage from an old past. The room are so cheap equipped with no amenities (only small shampoo). No documents to help us. Who to call, prices of the food, the services for breakfast, lunch or dinner… Nothing…||This is not a 4 stars hotel but a backpacker one. Cheating !!!||||The last night was a terrible one with no electricity, no one to explain us or say sorry for the disagreement (I remind you is a 4 stars hotel again). No water… no shower, no toilet… nothing !!! No service.||||I will never recommend this s…t for anyone and certainly not for business (or you going to loose all contracts and...
Read moreI stayed with my family in this heritage hotel for three nights over Christmas recently, and I had a fantastic experience. Despite it being Christmas, it was not too crowded. (My perception is that tourists prefer Jaisalmer over Bikaner.) So it was very relaxing.
Although property is not huge, it’s very elegant, not unsurprising given that it used to be Maharaja’s property. Corridors have beautiful paintings and classic furniture and mirrors. Spacious lawn and swimming pool with chairs to sit around.
Rooms are spacious and it easily fit in an extra mattress for one of my 2 children with still ample room left to move around. There was a balcony with the room.
There was also a small refrigerator in room which is not there even in some 4 star hotels.
Housekeeping service was fast whenever we requested for extra water bottles, towels etc.
They can upgrade the selection of their toiletries though. There was Lux brand soap. These little things give a premium feel otherwise. Booties were local low quality.
Variety in breakfast was less but food was tasty. The manager was also helpful in getting outside food (pizza etc) heated and packing some bakery and bread for kids on our departure to Jaisalmer.
Among the best part is its location. It’s next to chowpatty and we went there twice in three days, enjoyed boating, horse ride water roller and bungee for kids, and snacks, chaay. It seemed like a happening spot for city residents. People coming in evening just to chill out and even doing photo shoots.
Hotel is also at walking distance...

I booked this hotel for two days on my trip to bikaner, everything was in close proximity of this hotel so no issue there. When we came to the hotel there was no one to welcome us or guide us to the reception. My wife and i came there on bike we were really exhausted and no one reception asked us for even water. At last i asked someone to give us a water bottle. Checkin process was easy. After that we went to our room which was ok nothing special for the price we paid. Bathroom was really small with no basic things in them like comb, brush etc. Water pressure was also low. The electric kettle was not even clean. No drinking water was given on the second day we have to call the room service for that too. Food here is costly, tasteless and not a lot if variety. They serve only vegetarian food in breakfast. For dinner and lunch you have to scan a qr code which opens a website that shows only menu, i don’t know how to book food from there. Swimming pool was also not clean and lots of mosquitoes if you are thinking of moonlight dipping. We paid 9k+ for two nights which is way above what this place deserves. We have stayed in five star hotels which cost less than this hotel and have better quality food and ambiance. They are converting many of the forts in bikaner to hotel i think, which is messing up with tourism, they also close the forts on Sunday which was converted to hotel. So beware...
