We, family of 3 stayed in Palm Valley Farmhouse ( a boutique hotel of 4 family rooms and 8 double bed rooms) in end of July in family room ( with 2 double beds). Our stay was great, thanks to Palm Valley. I would like to specially mention below:
1- Family room we stayed is very big size with nice size attached washroom. There was ample sitting area with 3 chairs and a small round coffee table. There was ample space to walk in room. There were two big windows towards hills, from where we watched lush green beauty, mountains and lovely rimjhim badals and lawn. Outside room below one window they had put private space of sitting with big dining table and chairs also one swing. We thoroughly enjoyed this area for morning breakfast and sitting.
2- Himmat ji host is good person and receptive of complaints/suggestions if you have any. 3- Special to mention Mr. Sampat who lives there 24 hrs to take care guests needs. 4- We booked with free breakfast, and breakfast was good stuffed parathas, grilled sandwitch. 5- Property is surrounded by hills without any other construction at sight so it gave us a feel of staying at top view site of Mount Abu. 6- One day morning we could see bear out side lawn area. 7- Enjoyed fully rain. It gave us double maza i.e a good relaxing stay and beautiful hills with lush green jungle feel.
If you are a nature lover and going to relax, it's a best budget friendly hotel for you. It's outside mount Abu city at Hetam ji, so conveyance either you have or you can download hillcab app and book cab like ola/uber ( we booked for local drop, sight seeing and also for outstation drops). It's convenient otherwise commuting is difficult.
Hotel should have some entertainment games so that in case of bad weather if guests are not able to go out, can spend their time well by playing and entertaining themselves.
Yes one more suggestion, in our 3 night stay, we witnessed group of drinkers stayed in hotel and as hotel area is small they used common lawn or outside their room sitout to eat and drink with loud music or own dialogues. This is very disturbing for families staying though drinkers did not had any bad indent but it puts psychological unpleasant discomfort in families to enjoy outside their room. Hotel management should think of separating drinkers area or can ask them to restrict in rooms and with lower sound / music, so that families staying do not get discomfort.
It does not have swimming pool, which management said will be making soon.
Overall a must to book place for nature lover.
Thank you Himmat ji, thank you Sampat and thank you kitchen staff for good food. Cleaning staffs need to...
Read moreDisappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this hotel was poor enough to warrant one. First off, the service was extremely disappointing. The staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful throughout our stay. Requests were either ignored or took ages to be fulfilled, and basic courtesy was missing from most interactions. The room was far from what was advertised – small, poorly maintained, and not very clean. The furniture was outdated, and the bathroom had a lingering odor. Definitely not what you'd expect for the price they charge. Speaking of price, the food was outrageously expensive for the quality offered. We ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant one evening, and the portions were tiny, bland, and not at all worth the steep prices. We ended up eating out for the rest of our stay. Lastly, the location is inconvenient, especially if you're planning to explore or access any main attractions. It's isolated and hard to get to, with limited transportation options nearby. Overall, this hotel is overpriced and underwhelming. I would not recommend it, and I definitely won’t...
Read moreWe 5 of friends booked for 2 nights. The first sight of the property looked like a dilapidated house. The back side was completely bricks and unfinished . When we entered the room it’s okish. Ajay did arrange for AC as one of the requirements and it was new. The carpets kept over there is a waste and unclean. Pratap who is the caretaker is decent and his wife and himself cooks for the guests. The food isn’t great and not worth. The main market is 3 kms and it’s practically not possible with family to walk to the main Abu market unless you have your own vehicle. There is t any good restaurant eat y which is walking distance. They did not serve water when we checked in. I called up Ajay and requested him that we will only stay for a night and we moved to the main market . Ajay did not contest our concerns and accepted us to move out with just 1 night stay. I would request Ajay to share the pics of all the backside of the stay so ppl can take decision based on the facility and features so that there isn’t any...
