An appalling and distressing experience unquestionably the worst hotel stay we have ever endured as a family.

From the outset, the stay was riddled with issues. On the very first day, both bathrooms in our accommodation were flooded due to completely blocked drains. After just one shower, water spread across the entire floor, rendering the bathrooms hazardous and unusable.

Dinner was both grossly overpriced and distinctly poor in quality. Breakfast was equally disappointing — the dining area was unhygienic, with uncleaned tables and flies visibly hovering over the food.

Matters worsened on the second morning. We had planned an early departure around 5am to catch a flight, only to discover there was no running water in the entire room. Despite numerous attempts, reception failed to answer any calls. With children to attend to and no water for basic washing, we had no choice but to delay our departure by three hours, ultimately resulting in a missed flight — an inconvenience and financial loss that could have been entirely avoided had the hotel provided even the most basic standard of service.

The manager displayed little concern for our situation and seemed solely interested in charging for the room, showing complete disregard for the appalling conditions we endured.

To compound matters, the swimming pool was filthy and clearly neglected, making it wholly unsuitable for use.

I would strongly urge families or indeed any traveller to avoid this hotel. The experience was not only substandard but actively distressing. A truly shameful...

I recently had an amazing stay at Rang Mahal and couldn't be happier with the experience. The room was spacious, comfy, and clean.
