Hotel Ganpati — Hotel in Siliguri

Hi! I booked the hotel from Kolkata through watsapp, paying 2000/- as booking amount n the room rent was 3200/- with complimentary breakfast. N our stay with hubby n my 14yr old son,booked 4 bed room, but unfortunately when we reached by traveling from Kolkata by road i our car,the horrible experience began!!

Our room was 206, when we entered the room, surprisingly it was totally dirty, not even broomed. Rhe door mat was so dirty.i don't know,for how many months the room was not cleaned.

Moreover in the bathroom, there was not evena single hangers in the bathroom for hanging cloths.

The room was too small that aftr the bed hary any space was left to walk.

Aftr i told the room service to change the door mat he changed it.The amount we psid fir this room was really worthless for double bed was really waste of money coz the beds were 2 single beds.

And the most importantly the next morning, when they promised us to come fir complimentary bfast at their restaurant, sharp at 8am, coz we had been promised by the manager the night before that he will be keeping the bfast ready by 8am.

But when we reached the counter for the bfast next day at 8.30am, then the answer came ftom them was shocking.

Nobody was there ,n chef too.so hav to to wait for bfast.so we left without bfast.n when i shouted at reception, he returned me the change amount, and charged 3000/- instead of 3200/- for one day.

At night around, 11.30pm, we felt a huge noise of people jumping at above floor, and complained also,but nothing has been taken care. But i couldn't sleep coz again at night 2.30am, again i got awaken by the people running around n throwing utensils on the floor, i don't know, what yo do, n tried my best to sleep.

But could sleep...it was a horrible, n worst ever experience!!!!!.

Pls its my request not to book that hotel strictly. I don't know, whether it was some ghost or not, coz came to know from them that all 3 boyed were stayed on above floor n booked the room, but they slept early. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Worst!!!...

Checked in on 27/05/2022 at around 6.30pm, checked out on 28/05/2022 at 4.30am. Reason for mentioning the times is to make others understand the tormenting, horrible and distressful 10 hours I and my family spent there and I am citing the reasons.

1. Person at the frontdesk/reception (Salt n Pepper hair with spectacles) was one of the biggest churlish noob I have came across. Among many half-witted interactions, one among them was when he told me that as he was not taking tax(GST) for our driver's dormitory whose tariff was 500INR, I would have to pay by cash, not Card. That person should be enrolled into a school and he should be taught that no GST is applicable for tariffs

Worst, The worst!! The management is hell! The rooms are dirty as hell, had to change 3 rooms to get one where it was a bit clean but had to again help the boy to clean it and change the blanket and linen as there were patches all over it. They make you feel like you are staying there for free and not paying them. Further, I booked with breakfast included and had to leave at 9 in the morning. Asked many times the staff about the breakfast timings the night before and they did not have any answer So, in the morning I called again at 7 AM and they told me at 8 it would start, went to restaurant at 8:45 and they denied that breakfast is not ready yet as their chef had just arrived and had to leave without breakfast and the worst is they denied compensation later on. I booked through Agoda and after contacting agoda for help they lied that everything was clean and well. Moreover, the owner with his friends drinks and enjoy in the open at the check-in not really one feels secured with family with this kind of attitude. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL WORST...
