Hotel Sea Port — Hotel in South Andaman Island

Title: Terrible Stay - Spoiled Vacation and Disappointing Pool Experience

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it was an awful experience. The hotel did not meet the expectations as advertised,

Restaurant - the food quality was poor and they do not keep a buffet in breakfast.

Room's light - The room was quite dim and not enough artificial lighting. In the evening it was hard to see clearly.

The swimming pool was in a terrible state—dirty, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the relaxing spot I had hoped for. It was far from the advertised photos and was unusable during my stay. The pool was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel, so you can imagine how much it ruined my vacation especially my kid was very sad and disappointed.

Worst part of the whole experience was that the front desk staff was very very rude and when we asked her name, she said she does have any name. She works with Sulata the supervisor, Sulata was very professional. Infact we tried to connect with the manager jenny but she switched off phone never called back.

Located in dollyganj on the main road about 10 minute drive from the airport. A small place, well maintained with an in-house restaurant and bar and ultra mini swimming pool ( I didn't ve the courage to explore - looking at the colour of the water. Parking avaliable for about 4 cars, with a 24 hour security. Checkin is quite quick, muskan was very helpful, Rooms are small but ample well organized with a TV and refrigerator. TV programs are not subscribed for so u get a sample and they stop. Few mosquitoes 🦟 keep entering when u open the door. A small washroom but we'll maintained. Toiletries are provided, including dental kit. Restaurant is really small and it's flooded with alcohol lovers in the evening, wonderful cheerful bearers always welcoming and offering you their pricy ones ( lobster 🦞 2500 rupees & king crab 🦀 2800) but were cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. All their preparations were good, few to mention Alu paratha, fish curry, alumutter, paneer butter Masala, chicken masala. Butter garlic prawns was the yummiest. Staying here is like paying more than told…! While you check-in they say different charges including GST and at the time of check out they say you charges more than said excluding GST… We (14 of us) went through a person named VIVEK and he said that the discounted price of the room would be 2800 including GST but unfortunately on the time of our check out he denied saying this…abused us…talked about our “aukaad” and what not…he said that if we want GST bill we have to pay 2800+GST and when we denied to pay that he left us nowhere and asked the Tempo Traveller driver not to drop us to the airport and leave us…this was not the end when the hotel manager previously said that he will take 3200 including GST but as soon as he saw this scenario he also said that if we want a GST bill then we have to pay 3200+GST which was even more pathetic… the time when we should leave and reach the airport that time all 14 of us were struggling in an unknown city to catch an auto with so many luggage and kids with us… at last what happened was 3 of our group members have missed the flight and we have to face a huge loss.
