CM Residency — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Avoid this Lodge.

Before committing non-refundable long stay at this lodge, try one night stay first.

The only plus: This Lodge is being renovated and the fittings are reasonably new. Mosaic flooring.

Pathetic service. For attitude, if I could give lower than 1 rating, I would have done. I needed to know how to reach the lodge. The phone was never answered. While checking-in, I informed about this. They showed a ‘who-cares’ attitude. There is scattered materials and dust every where in the common access areas, as construction work is in progress. May be because of the dust, most of the time no one was seen at the reception desk. There was no mug in the bath room. After informing, they did nothing about it – same ‘who-cares’ attitude. The room was provided with a small table and a plastic chair. There was a lot of dust on the chair. When I kept the (sliding, glass) window open in the night, mosquitoes entered the room, started biting, even though the ceiling fan was running high speed and curtain was fully covering the window. I could not have normal sleep. The window was not provisioned with mosquito net. The room had no facility for keeping clothes. I had to keep clothes on the floor. Seeing the higher ratings (may be fake) for this lodge, I did booking for few days of stay. But I got out in the morning after staying one night. Losing money for the remainder of the booking did not bother me. I did not want to put up with the pathetic ‘who-cares’ attitude...

We stayed in CM Residency for the first time, in two rooms on the 2nd floor. The rooms were well maintained, well ventilated, and well lit. The bathroom was clean.

The parking is limited but was enough to park our car for the duration of our stay. They have an attached restaurant and it was so kind of them to serve us delicious food for dinner on request. They went beyond to prepare dishes that were not in the regular menu on request for dinner.

The Manager was so welcoming and all staff were polite & supportive. We had to start very early in the morning and they helped us without any objections.

It was only after reaching home and receiving a call from Mr. Sankar we realized that we left back 19.5k cash in one of the rooms. Hard to find such honest people! Mr. Sankar deposited the amount in his bank account and immediately transferred it to me. We are eternally grateful for the entire Staff and specially Mr. Sankar for their honesty. I stayed here from 1-5 July 2025. I booked this hotel from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Intersting thing is that I booked this Hotel over telephone without paying any advance. I request them for early check in into the Hotel. They keep this booking and found someone was there to greet us. |Room was spacious, neat and clean, beds were like my one. Atmosphere was tremendous. Staffs were very cordial, though there was language barriers. Manager of this Hotel Mr S. Saravana Kumar knows English well, Student of Hotel Management knows well how to deal with customers. He helped ma a lot during our stay, we give him lots of trouble, he cordially helped us with his smiling face always. I hope he will become a true hotelier soon. |There is a small cafeteria in the ground floor. Foods were excellent. Location of this hotel is perfect, no unnecessary sounds and pollution. Rail Station is nearby. Airport is about 20 kms. I really enjoyed my stay here and strongly recommend others to choose this property.
