Gayathri Hotels — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

We stayed only one night on Mar 13. It is located on a rather busy street next to a wedding hall. So when we got there, I was a bit nervous because I can't stand noise. The parking attendant was super nice and chatted with me while my husband checked us in. Of course they came to get our bags, but since we were only staying one night, there was not much we brought in. The front desk guy was super and really nice. ||We got to our room, and it was facing the wedding hall. But I didn't hear much of anything, especially with the curtains drawn. There was a king bed, a/c, ceiling fan, TV and a big table area. The room was really nice and so was the staff. We had just left Club Mahindra and had such a horrible experience, so it was really nice to get such service.||We had dinner in the restaurant. The food was sooooo good. We were so disappointed in Club Mahindra's food and feeling sick every day, and this food was really good. We both told the waiter how good it was, especially after the poor service and quality we just left from. We asked that the food be made without spice, and they prepared it just right. The food was brought out in the right order and with perfect timing. We even got the fried ice cream, which was so perfect to the end of our meal. Thank you so much!||The next morning we had breakfast there. We came down late because we really needed the sleep in a quiet place. We were not as happy with the food for breakfast. It was cold, and it took forever to get my tea brought. There was idly, pakoda, sambar, chutney's, and a pongal. Fairly standard Indian breakfast. It wasn't bad tasting, just cold, which made it a little less appetizing. So that was really the only issue we had with this place!||Check out was smooth, and they promptly took our luggage to the car. The watchman came and told us good bye. ||Great experience and service! I am so glad we stayed there!...

I had a worst experience staying here. I took a delux room and found the AC leaking water making the floor with running water. The complain was attended only after 4 hours. The request for change of room was denied saying the hotel was full but later found to know that many rooms were available. The night stay was horrible. Next day no repair work was done and found people repairing only by 6pm when we entered the room. It took another one hour leaving us in a desparate position. We were not even able to relax a while. This a very bad example of...

Stayed enroute to chennai from munnar via udumalai compact rooms clean and neat linens and wash rooms, Tasty in house restaurant, huge parking space welcoming staffs.

Had dinner in room service Tasty dishes.

Morning buffet breakfast was with all South Indian dishes poori and dosa were made hot and served 😋, usual continental dishes are served.
