Honestly, I'm giving 3 stars only because of the brand and how it serves well in other cities. Ginger Tirupur was a bad experience. Hygiene wise, it is well kept. But since the hotel is probably decades old, the least they could do is upgrade the bathrooms and sanitary. There's not even a proper ventilation or exhaust in any of the bathrooms (I've used 4 of their rooms).
The main thing I wanna review is that, we checked in for a night's stay on a package with complimentary breakfast. The next day we checked out but since my business in Tirupur wasn't done, I had to check in the next evening as well. When I checked out the next day, they changed me 940 Rs saying that I had a meal. On asking furthur about the meal they said it was the breakfast that we ate on our previous check in and it wasn't complimentary. The lady manager there kept arguing with us adamantly saying that it was complimentary and it was a miscommunication from their part and insisted us to pay for it. Not only the they didn't mention this on our pervious checkout, they didn't even mention it when we checked in later and are finding excuses to charge us. Initially when asked about the meal, they said it was dinner from last night thinking that we won't ask anything furthur about it. Horrible act from such a prestigious hotel...
Read moreThis hotel is probably one of the worst. I dont know where to begin. The hotel was built in 2011 and since then it has not undergone any changes. Desperately requires a revamp of almost all the facilities. The rooms are tiny, bathroom ends before it starts. The fittings are all ancient. No split ac, all rooms have window ac which means whole night water drop dripping from upper room on to lower ac making a very irrirating sound. Single chair was provided (because thats how much space was there in room)but I didn't take the risk of using it as it was also ancient. The bed was also not queen. Just a double bed. The tv was so small I havent seen that small tv in last 10 years. A bed light fitting which did not work any way dropped on us at midnight. Tried the resraurant which is equally pathetic. My fruit salad with icecream had 1 scoop icecream with exactly 6 tiny peices of watermelon and the rest were all pineapple. When I enquired, I just got a meh as if I dont know what I am asking. Overall the stay was terrible and we left early morning. The hotel perhaps was okay at some time and they are using the same pictures even after 10 years fooling people. If it were a 1000₹ hotel, it would be fine. Anything over that price is pure cheating using old or fake pictures on...
Read moreA Disturbing Encounter: Hotel Ginger's Betrayal of Privacy
My recent stay at Hotel Ginger left me not just disappointed, but disturbed by a blatant violation of privacy. The incident in question casts a shadow over any redeeming qualities the hotel may possess.
9th Jan . Whoever barged the room came Inside with a wrong intention .it seems that Hotel Ginger's room service operates with a complete disregard for guests' privacy. My room was allegedly entered without my knowledge, and the behavior of the staff was not just unprofessional but downright irritating.
This unsettling experience has left me questioning the integrity of the hotel's commitment to guest well-being. It is disheartening to witness such a deliberate invasion of personal space, and one can't help but wonder how many others have fallen victim to this violation.
Potential guests should be aware of the concerning practices at Hotel Ginger, where a disturbing lack of respect for privacy overshadows any semblance of hospitality. Until these issues are earnestly addressed, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a secure and...
