Hotel Comfort Park — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

I booked double bed room for my self around 12pm in the noon which was Rs.1500. Later my 2 family members stayed in my room and I have paid Rs.900 extra for a single night stay which is till 12pm. MANAGER WAS LITTLE LIBERAL and offer 1 hr extended stay as I was late from hospital. Room ambience was GOOD BUT People smoke in the pathway and the smoke disturbed us lot. People charge their phone near lift and talk loudly which is lot of disturbance. I could see the food plates lying on the steps in 3rd floor when u come out from elevator. AC WAS GOOD , There was a COCKROACH in Room, ANT& the pillows were not clean (only the pillow sheet was clean). I will not go because I didn’t like the ambience overall. Sorry to say but that’s the fact. BATHROOM WAS NOT GOOD. ***Highlight= when I came manager was there and I told him that I am checking out now, When I brought all my bags down and requested the bill for stay with the service boy He said Manager has gone out and I cannot do anything. Well, we checked in for a day at the Comfort Park hotel to pick my daughter and my grandson from the airport. This hotel is around 12 kms from the airport, which was fine. We booked the family suite which was nice and spacious for four. The complimentary breakfast was good. Dosa, idli, vada, poori, egg, pineapple juice were on the menu. There is ample parking space which was a plus point because many hotels we have been to in Chennai, hardly had any proper parking place though they had said they had. The only minus point is the noise of the traffic in the morning if you want to stay late in bed. It was my first time staying at Hotel Comfort Park Chennai with my elderly parents. I had booked a Comfort Triple room since it was 3 of us and I was impressed on how spacious and tidy the room was. The toilet was kept clean. Breakfast was also nice. You can request staff to clean the room when you provide them your room keys before you head out of the hotel for the day. The service of the staff really deserves 5/5 stars. They were willing to go above and beyond to help us when we request for their help. I was impressed when help was rendered in assisting us to book an Ola when we had difficulties getting an Ola due to the heavy traffic. One thing I would say is to plan ahead of your journey as the traffic can be very bad in Chennai....
