I ordered the Wednesday Special Chicken Bucket offer and Smoky Red Grilled Chicken for home delivery at 7:25 PM, with an estimated delivery time of 8:09 PM. However, even by 8:30 PM, the order had not been delivered. I called your customer care team, and the agent assured me that the KFC Porur store manager would contact me within 10–15 minutes. Unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up call.
I called again at 9:04 PM, waited in the queue for nearly 10 minutes, and the call was disconnected while on hold. I attempted again at 9:15 PM and was advised either to wait another 10–15 minutes or cancel the order myself. I was eventually given a contact number for the store manager, which was unreachable.
Left with no other option, I went directly to the KFC Porur store, where the store manager responded casually and without any sense of urgency. He informed me that the delay was due to a lack of delivery personnel, and told me to wait further. I had specifically placed the order early for my parents and uncle, considering their dietary needs and schedule. Receiving the food close to 10:00 PM defeated the purpose entirely.
The store manager’s final response was that I should return the next day to receive my order. This experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Then i ordered classic chicken krisp burger at 8.43pm. i waited for my order more than 10min. People who have ordered after me got delivered eventhough they had more items. Just for one burger i waited for a long time. i reached 4 four times and enquired about the status and received the item. at the time of delivery, i asked for free chicken since order got delayed more than 7 min. they have informed that they cannot give since it is eligible only if we buy more than 500rs value. i informed them that i m a regular customer and i used to get with no questions asked if the order got delayed more than 7 min. i asked them to show such conditions in their document. They informed me to check in website on my own. With no more arguments, i took my item, sat there and checked and found that there was no such things. then i again visited the counter and was about to share, suddenly the main person informed his colleague to give free chicken. i denied and asked why it was not done when i asked before. the main person told that he was not aware of it. i argued with him and he accepted his mistake and asked me to take but i got annoyed and lost interest to accept it. i got insulted when he denied where everyone was watching me. it looks like they are cheating everyone there.
