Junior Kuppanna - Porur- Iyyappanthangal — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I ordered food through swiggy on 29th August 2024 in iyyapthangal junior kuppanna. Bill attached. 2 items(chicken.biryani) worth 908 rupees were missed in the package and delivered. I reported immediately to swiggy. They said they could not reach restaurant and asked me to share all the proofs. I shared photos and videos of whole packing. They asked me to send email to their email ID with proofs. You know what was their response. We cannot reach restaurant and cannot refund for the restaurants ignorance. You just rate them in swiggy, so that restaurant will act responsibly for future orders. My 908 rupees is spent for teaching lession to restaurant !!!!!!. I tried to reach restaurant directly and not reachable for past 1 day continuously.

Update 01/sep/2024 - Dear Owner, If you are really concerned about the customer service or satisfaction, you should have asked for my mobile number and provided the refund of 908 INR. This amount cannot be compensated by your simple social media text "Sorry". Its hard...

Mostly satisfied. I ordered Bun Parotta & Nool Paroota . It accompanied with gravy , free of charge . I am extremely happy with the Nool Paroota . It was crispy & tasty . I enjoyed it , a lot . The Bun Parotta tasted satisfactory.

My Daughter & Son - in - Law didn't complain about the food, they had . Normally Junior Kuppanna offer Sweet & Salt Lime Juice and Soda . That was not available. The Non Vegetarian Meals printed on the menu , not available. The Payasam which will accompany Vegetarian Meals free of charge at Erode Junior Kuppanna earlier , was served at a cost Rs. 100 . I found out it very costly , as the quantity is very meagre .

The ambience is somewhat ok . I , came to know that the outlet functions from Morning 1100 hours to 2300 hours in a day . But for take away it is round the clock 24×7 .

It is in first floor and not wheelchair accessible. Restrooms are there . No lift available. We have to cilmb a staircase of 20 steps . As usual at Junior Kuppanna, the...

No Doubt… They are WORST! We are big fan of Junior Kuppanna all around, but Porur/Iyappanthangal one will surely spoil the name for sure.

We just faced a worst situation with them by order from Swiggy where an item been missed and waited for one more hour.

And other regarding, Bucket biryani, it was mentioned as 4 pax, but seriously the quantity is just only for 2 pax and costs 1700, which is unbelievable.

And we tried to reach them via their phone in their Google places, but couldn’t reach them.

Finally caught them through the delivery person who was waiting there to get back the missed item and came to know, that’s not less quantity and that’s the quantity for 4 pax, which really surprised.

Definitely not, they have cheated for sure and making it sure as never order anything and even not visit them as it’s not worth for the money we spend.
