Radisson Hotel Salem — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

After a 8 hour drive, checked into the Radisson, did not have a handicapped parking, there was one all the way down, long way from the entrance. Went to the reception area where three staff were trying to train one staff, all if them did not know what they were doing, I had requested a quiet room with two twin beds, went to the room, no twin beds, after 15 minutes, they transferred us to a second floor room and we could hear the outside large fans going at full blast, again changed the room, after 15 minutes came back to 5th floor, AC was not working In this room. Maintenance personnel was called, he informed the front desk to have the room changed, so after nearly a hour, we got into a very hot room with twin beds, slowly the AC temperature started coming down. Tried to leave a note with the GM of the hotel, looks like Mr Madhusudhan was busy, requested a call back, nothing. This is a basic hotel good for the local people, but not for international customers. We ordered room service for dinner, good food. Went down next morning for breakfast, pancakes and Waffle were hard as a rock, flies eating bread on our table, we ate hurriedly and got out of the restaurant. As I said, this restaurant is good for local people. The room was clean, had a good night sleep. Will not come back to this hotel, but will check if this is a real Radisson group of hotels. The staff in the reception surely needs training, the front office manager was apologetic but the mistake was already done, I informed the reception the my wife is handicapped, but they did not care, they made us wait for a good hour before giving us a room. Once the General manager of the hotel is bad, u cannot expect good staff, we visited Radisson Mysore, the staff are excellent and that is the reflection of the GM of Radisson Mysore, but Salem Radisson is another story. This is a Local hotel trying to pass off as international hotel. The property is a great place, jut run by inexperienced people. If u look closely, u can see the fly 🪰...

Accessibility🔍 No need to search for this hotel🔍. On the go you can identify it😉. It is there adjacent to main road. They have large board with the name on top their building to identify it. Yes very easily accessible 😀.

Place and Room🏕️ Very very neat and clean👌. If you need extra bed in your room they will arrange it. Toilets were very clean as looked like new one. TV available for entertainment. Sorry we didn't checked for wifi internet connections😐.Hope it is available there. Its better to stay away from hotel wifi connections to protect your personal data.😎 Bed was awesome. I felt like I was sleeping on the cloud🐅☁️🌜. One side of the room has full of glass to get natural light into your room at day times🌞. From there you will have a great sight of nature🌴🌲🌳. There is no bright light in the room. All the lights were yellowish💡 which will set you in perfect mood😉. Swimming pool available but its depth is only 4 feet. Dining hall is also available here. I think people can book it for parties. Small bakery stuffs available to eat cake items near reception🎂. Kind of fancy store is also there buy some toys🐹🐼🐻.

Service😍🚶 Nice service. Whenever you enter into the hotel gate keepers always welcomes you with smile and greet. We asked additional tooth brushes got it without any delay.

Parking🚘 Lot of space available and rooms available for drivers to stay.

Issues Matt finish sticker which is pasted on the bathroom glass door was peeled out little bit. Its vulnerable to privacy🙁. Room number 5020. We pasted some paper there to protect our privacy😜.

Access card getting deactivated when it was kept with mobile🤔. Thats what they told we haven't validated it second time😉. That was really frustrating. We can't call and activate...
