Restaurant Review: KFC at AMR Plaza (Highway from Salem to Bangalore)
On a recent drive from Salem to Bangalore, we decided to stop at the KFC located at AMR Plaza after Salem, hoping for a reliable breakfast experience. The location seemed promising, with ample parking and a few other shops nearby, making it a seemingly convenient stop for highway travelers.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the outlet being relatively uncrowded, the service was shockingly poor. There were two counters, but no staff appeared interested in taking orders. Employees were present but seemed disengaged, avoiding eye contact with customers who were clearly waiting.
When we finally approached a manager to inquire about placing an order, we were met with an unprofessional and rude response. The manager, who identified herself as Bhuwanershwari, shouted at us to “wait” and dismissed our polite request for assistance with an unwarranted attitude. When questioned about her behavior, her response was shockingly dismissive, claiming, “This is just how my face is—accept it or leave.”
Such an attitude from staff, especially in a service-oriented establishment, is unacceptable. Customers stopping here likely expect a quick, hassle-free experience, especially during a highway journey, but instead, we were met with unnecessary rudeness and inefficiency. From the moment I entered the store, it was evident that customer service was not a priority. We wanted to have some light food and drink.. initially they told, shop opens at 11 o clock.. we were there at 10:50.. she didn't even allow us to get inside the stores and sit.. she made faces.. The manager's attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. I was met with a dismissive tone and a lack of willingness to assist. This was not only off-putting but also reflected poorly on the overall customer experience.
It's disheartening to see a manager, who should set an example for the staff, behaving so poorly.
Customer service is a crucial aspect of any dining experience, and a rude manager can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise well-established chain like KFC. I hope that the management takes steps to address this issue, as it significantly impacts the overall perception...

Today me and my frinds ordered 15 pcs bucket and we got the the food in a small pack. When I check the pcs then I realized that all pcs are small ( majority pcs are wings, strips, and legs pcs are too small same like chicken wings )and quality of the food is too bad and getting bad smell.
Then why I am not raised a complaints, bcoz me and my frinds was too hangry and too much tired as well.
Atmosphere
When I entire the shop, the floor was not neat and clean (on the floor we can see mosquitoes, dest ).
Please note: we were on the way root Bangalore to Palakkad and we are choosing the dinner from KFC because we are keeping some trust on KFC due to the quality of food and atmosphere.
