Read moreSparsa Resort is a luxury hotel located in Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. The hotel is praised for its beautiful and tranquil surroundings, as it is situated in a lush green landscape with scenic views of the nearby Arunachala Hill. Guests have appreciated the resort's peaceful atmosphere, which allows for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
The hotel's accommodations, including rooms and suites, have been described as spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The decor is contemporary with traditional touches, creating a soothing and welcoming ambiance. Guests have also complimented the cleanliness of the rooms and the attentive service provided by the staff.
Sparsa Resort has several dining options, including a multi-cuisine restaurant, a rooftop bar and grill, and a poolside cafe. If you’re going for lunch it would be better to have South Indian rather than North Indian. As it still needs improvement on the taste front. The North Indian dishes tastes sweetness , but you’ve to remind the restaurant people to keep it extra spicy! If you’re having South Indian food, then all the dishes are a la cartè, you’ve to order all the dishes are desperately, moreover it is sufficient for 2 to 3 people. Veg Chettinad Soup is a must try & you cannot miss the Sambar , rasam and Poriyals ! The rooftop bar and grill is highly recommended for its stunning views of the surrounding area.
The resort's facilities include a large swimming pool, a spa, pottery centre , bullock cart riding , tea kadai, Vintage store and a fitness center. I have enjoyed using the facilities, it was clean and well-maintained. However all the facilities are timing based, it has a rigid time frame operations.
Overall, Sparsa Resort is highly recommended for those seeking a relaxing and peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings, with comfortable accommodations, great dining options, and attentive services.

Read moreLocated away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Sparsa Thiruvannamalai lets you experience a serene, quiet and peaceful stay amid the natural surroundings.
The moment you step into this place , you are shifted to a wonderland.
We stayed here for 5 days ( 4 nights ) and it was nothing short of a delight. The staff here are so friendly and the activities are quite engaging and entertaining . The kids and us equally enjoyed making potteries , drawing kolam, making flower garlands, milking cows and riding bullock carts. The people who took care of these activities were friendly and treated us well.
We spotted naughty monkeys and a beautiful peacock. You will keep hearing soulful , meditative music and chirping of birds here .
The swimming pool was maintained well and the coach was supportive.
The food too was good. With all the reviews on food I thought it would be oily and spicy as we took kids with us. But it was kids friendly and less spicy. It was decent and hygienic. Again, the staff here was courteous. The ambience was good
I feel they should increase the number of high chairs. There was only one and we had to use whenever we were there. I saw a few other kids who had to manage with normal chairs.
Most of the staff here have been working since the inception. That shows how the employees are treated here.
With all the pros mentioned here, there is also a con . It would be good if the rooms were given even more attention. The screens were a little dirty and I could spot cockroaches and their eggs. With so many greeneries surrounding having insects infestation would be quite prevalent. However, there should be some ways to sort it.
Being an eco village, so much effort is being put into saving electricity. Hence the evenings are darker here :) This isn't a con but gave us a chance to...
