We booked in early morning and we were given a very small room. Fitting in our two luggages did not allow us any space to move about it even open our luggage to get our clothes.
We requested a bigger room the next day. The manager/front counter person kept on insisting we pay the full amount and even raised the price from Rs1000 to Rs1500 as it's a bigger room. They downgraded us on the 2nd last day as they had promised the big room which we were staying in to another guest (they did not mention this to us on the day they moved us into this room.) They could have asked the new guests to stay in another room and move them once we have moved out the next day morning. So we had to pack and move. The management is lazy and don't provide accurate information. I asked few days earlier on what time to move and they said 9.30am but they came knocking at 7.30am to ask if we can move!!! Made me really angry as I had to quickly pack up and leave. They didn't pay me the difference of moving from a big room to a smaller room. I kept asking them and they just gave excuses. Very very poor management.
Very basic amenities. Nothing grand. The toilet/bathroom kind of stinks, could be due to old pipe system. Some times it gets really worse and smelled horribly.
If you are staying for a day or two is good but not for long stay. The front help boys, especially the darker guy was extremely helpful and kind. The other guy was kind of rude/ made some remarks and giggled whenever we left our room.
There is Aryas eating place just next to the hotel. It's OK. Nothing grand. Basic vegetarian food. Not so delicious.
If you are old or have weak legs, this hotel only provides lift from 1st floor. You need to climb up or down from the ground floor which I saw many elderly struggling. The corridor can...
Read moreTotally rude staff. Rooms were unclean and toilets were horrible. AC is a joke. After paying through payment gateway when asked for bill we were told it would take INR 360 to give actual bill. Why would a hotel process a payment without GST? This is a big red flag. Note that we were charged INR3000 for a 4h stay between 1p and 5p since the Rajagopal Swamy temple was closed. We have had pleasant stay in the past in the same place. With this new manager, this place has become money-minded. If you are looking for a place with friendly staff, neat rooms, value for the money, family friendly environment...
Read morePerfect location walkable distance to the temple. There is a hotel downstairs and the food was good. The bedsheets were clean. Toilet was clean. Their room service was great, I called in the morning at 4am and they immediately turned in the hot water geyser. It's an instant geyser too.
We took room no 212, there were two double beds making our stay extremely comfortable. Perfect place if you want to relax and travel...
