Hotel Review: Bhaktivedant Seva Sadan, Vrindavan
I recently stayed at Bhaktivedant Seva Sadan in Vrindavan, and it was a peaceful and fulfilling experience. The hotel is located close to the prominent temples, making it an ideal spot for pilgrims and spiritual seekers.
Location: The hotel is situated in a calm area, yet close enough to key temples like Banke Bihari, allowing easy access for daily visits.
Rooms: The rooms were simple, clean, and well-maintained, with basic amenities like AC, TV, and a clean bathroom. While the rooms are modest, they provide a comfortable and quiet space to relax after a day of temple visits.
Service: The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, always ready to help with any requests. Check-in was smooth, and they provided useful local insights, ensuring a stress-free stay.
Food: The in-house vegetarian restaurant served tasty, freshly prepared meals, with a focus on healthy, simple food—perfect for those visiting for spiritual reasons.
Overall Experience: Bhaktivedant Seva Sadan is a serene and value-for-money choice for those seeking a peaceful and spiritual stay in Vrindavan. Read moreThe staff was extremely cooperative and assisted us greatly in checking the availability of vehicles. Since our booked vehicle was unavailable, the hotel owner kindly provided us with their private car for our journey. The food, prepared by the owner aunty, is homemade, delicious, and perfect for those who enjoy spicy flavors, especially North Indian cuisine. The rooms are equipped with smart TVs, good WiFi, and blankets. The owner went above and beyond by personally taking us for Premanandji Maharaj darshan in his private car at 1:30 AM night. However, some rooms lack windows, so after checking in, we opted to upgrade to a larger room with a balcony. The geyser in our room provided only mildly warm water. Additionally, there are no intercom phones in the rooms, so we had to contact the hotel staff via mobile. Since there is no separate cafeteria, meals are either served in the room or in a designated space outside the kitchen. Overall, we truly appreciate the team’s cooperation and the extra support they provided...
Read moreThere are a lots of basic things that they did not provide:
Amenities: they DO NOT have LIFT but giving rooms in 3rd floor and 1st floor. We had to take the staircase till 3rd floor with all the trollies and then again down back with all the trollies. They did not provide dustbin, complementary water bottle, bath and face towels and soap. They do not have table, chair inside the room and just the bed.
Gyser was not working for sometime due to their electric overload. Water was not coming for several hours(more than 5 hours) in the evening.
Overcharging (scam): They overcharged the food even when we were eating very less (2 roti and 2 subjis). Also they have taken more cost for water bottles.
The behaviour of the receptionist (old person) is not good. They treat us like we are staying free without paying money.
Overall experience: Poor. Major feedback: no lift but giving rooms in 3rd floor. Room quality: poor, Service: moderate,...
