Hotel Grand Sai — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

We , me and my husband ,were there for a business trip for one day||Situated on a busy market street, it is actually on second floor of a shopping complex bldg||||A small lift catering to bar on first floor, restaurant on second and guest rooms too||||Was charged more than the online price, that is passable||||Though the rooms seems renovated, bathroom fittings were rusted. Some taps were leaking||In the morning at 7 am no running hot water||Someone got a bucket of hot water after some time||Icing on the cake was, ||||I was stuck in the lift||Post dinner, my husband went to get some medicines.||As soon as I got in the lift, and the door closed, there was power cut||There I was alone, in a small lift , no light and no vent, or fan|| I was banging on the door, shouting, no avail, no emergency button||Some guest saw me entering the lift, so the gentleman asked some hotel employees to help||I could hear the staff saying, light aayegi to lift khud chal jayegi||||Phoned my husband, he came back, shouted and all, then the person goes to second floor to get the keys to lift, as suggested by my husband ||||In all it took around 10 mins or more||Till then the generator started||Ahh.. the hotel lift doesn't have an automatic generator. ||Its attached with the market generator, which again is at some basement, and the person with keys to the generator room has to be called.||||Now no from the hotel is there at the lift ||We gi go to the front desk to complain, the person there is like, || "SO WHAT, IT HAPPENS"||||No apologies, concern whatsoever ||||Being so exhausted with this and it being around 9 /10 PM , didn't have the will to go any other hotel||||In the morning we had an early chek out at 8 , but no breakfast is available and we are asking for the breakfast on our cost|| ||Very callous staff, the guests doing morning walk in corridor ,in bannan||Ok for business traveller ,but couples and...

This hotel which is located very near to the main railway station and at the centre of the city is ideal for travellers who wish to avail transport at odd hours from the city. It would suit single travellers on business trips as the hotel is located in the main market area. It has no such scenic views of the city as one may look forward to when travelling for leisure. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The hotel sports an underground parking which may be useful for transit passengers. The food is standard, rooms were clean. The hotel is undoubtedly beautiful with lot of space at the reception area and a separate lobby with great siting arrangements and fluffy carpet. The management is cooperative. The room service of the hotel was unprofessional. The telephone of my room was not working properly as the buttons have to be pushed with alot of power to dial for reception and the room service. The number of thr reception could not be reached during my stay and I had to go to the reception every time I needed to talk to the person sitting in the reception.
