Hotel Madhavam — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

So.. let's start with my hotel experience with hotel madhawan, as I entered in mathura.. saw a hotel with lights. Installed 50 bulbs on entrance.. thought I should see this.. as I enquired one of manager asked "dekhlo room pehle" I said ok.. I checked.. it looked nice.. I asked tarrif he said 2700 + tax.. I asked for discount.. he said apna budget batao.. I said.. I m tourist and I don't have budget.. he said 2200 with tax.. after negotiation. We were agree with 2200.. as of now all good.. next morning.. as we ready for leave.. by mistake one of the keys left in our bags.. we were unknown the fact.. one more thing.. which is important I would add here..they kept a food menu. We thought if they have meenu, food must have tasty. So we ordered from there..after 1 hour.. we got food in black polythene and paper plates.. stale food...one of the glass was broken by my kids.. he charged 100 rupees for that.. so I was telling about keys which was mistakenly left in our bags. one the managers call me "meri chabi de jao.. camera laga rakha ha. Sab Pata ha mujhe tumhare bag me ha".. so they installed cameras in hotel room.. whole day we were traveling in vrindavan.. I said to him, dekhta ho kya kar Sakta ho.. he constantly calling and said.. meri chabi do.. I Said bhai teri chabi ka kya karonga main..dekhta ho bag me hogi.. he said.. meri chaabi de do.. when my wife interact with him.. he misbehaved with her as well.. what a childish thing.. I asked bhai.. dekhta ho.. so I was in vrindavan same day I drove 18 km and handover the key.. that was my experiences with hotel madhawan.. hope you liked.. Thank you for your...

This hotel does not even deserve 1 star. Despite its 4.7-star rating with 400+ reviews, my experience was completely opposite. I booked directly by calling the hotel. The concerned person promised early check-in and asked for an advance payment, which I immediately transferred. They even sent me a confirmed booking with check-in time on WhatsApp.

However, on reaching the hotel, I was shocked. The person at the desk refused to provide early check-in, arguing that he had not sent any such message and could not do anything. Only after raising my voice did he reluctantly give me a room and that too in terrible condition compared to the rent charged.

The bathroom fittings looked like those in a ₹500–₹600 rent hotel, while Hotel Madhavam charged ₹2,500 + taxes. The overall maintenance, cleanliness, and service quality were far below expectations.

This place is highly misleading compared to the reviews and ratings shown online. I strongly suggest: only book this hotel if you have absolutely no other...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The food was downright disgusting ,the dal tasted like someone just dumped haldi into hot water, the rice had absolutely no salt, and the roti we ordered with our paneer sabzi never even showed up.

When we called the staff to ask about it, not only were they useless, but also unbelievably rude ,zero manners, zero professionalism. They talked to us like they were doing us a favor. And after we tried calling them a few more times to follow up, guess what? They blocked us. Yes, BLOCKED us instead of fixing their pathetic service.

The food was garbage, the staff was arrogant, and the overall experience was just embarrassing. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save your money, time, and sanity , go literally...
