I stayed here for 2 nights, and in my opinion the rooms were very comfortable and well equipped with facilities such as A/C, Geyser, Large enough bed that could fit 2-3 people max(although you could ask for an additional mattress if required). The restroom in particular was quite attractive as the design of it was quite tasteful. . As far as location is concerned, most of the major ghats fall in the radius of 2-3 kms(closest being the Dashashwamedh Ghat, where the evening aarti takes place), which is good for someone who would like to explore the city by walk. Although you could take an e-rickshaw, which charges 20-30 per head, But I would encourage you to speak to the owner as they connect you with a local rickshaw at a reasonable rate . When it comes to food , options around the homestay are quite a few. The Major market falls at a distance of 1.5 -1.8kms from the stay so you could easily take a rickshaw and explore resturants and shop as well. . Even though the distance from the ghats are shorter , If you are travelling with an older person , it would be a quite tiring for them. Take note that Banaras is a city that demands you to walk alot, so be sure to train your legs🏋️♂️😉 . Overall i had a good experience and would surely recommend. Also i would suggest you speak to Deepak Bhaiya who owns the property as he would provide you with a good guidance of how to navigate...
Read moreI recently stayed at this place from 27th Jan to 30th Jan 2024 where I booked a room for triple occupancy. Below are some even and odds to notice: Even: Room was sufficient enough for 3 people Property is well maintained. Mr. Deepak, the owner of the property is humble and polite and stays in the same building on the top floor.
Odds: The room with 3 occupancy does not have attached washroom, its a separate washroom in the main gallery.
The washroom should be locked whenever you are not using it else other guests staying at the property might use it as well.
Washroom is not clean, there is no exhaust in washroom neither any proper ventilation which does not let the washroom dry.
During my experience, I locked the washroom and left to visit varanasi city, later day when I reached back, the washroom was accessed by someone using its duplicate key; on asking the care taker, there was no proper response who used the washroom. Informed the owner and he said he will take a look at the CCTV camera and let me know which never happened and I lost trust in the property. If someone can access my washroom using duplicate key, there are very high chances people accessing my room as well without my permission.
Property is situated at a bad location "Maulvi Bagh, Sigra" in a very narrow lane.

Read moreThe property is within walking distance of Kashi Vishwanath Temple (around 30 minutes). While the listed check-in time is 9:30 AM, we had to wait until 11 AM as the previous guests had not vacated the room. However, the receptionist was very helpful—he allowed us to use the bathroom to freshen up and assisted us in navigating the area since we were unfamiliar with it.
There is no breakfast provided, but Swiggy and Zomato are available for food delivery. He also kindly offered us tea. One thing we overlooked during booking was that the room does not have an attached bathroom. While the room itself was comfortable, having an attached bathroom would have made the stay even better.
Additionally, there were a lot of monkeys around the property, and when we tried to step out, they became a bit of a nuisance. Thankfully, the receptionist helped us get rid of them, which we really appreciated.
We are from Kerala and were visiting Varanasi for the first time. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would recommend this place to anyone...
