First of all I would like to say this property does the job as shown in the pictures and what is written just as a 4 star property. I was a little skeptical first because obviously before booking any 4/5 star property which isn't a big brand and have mixed reviews would give you many second thoughts to reconsider your booking. But after a lot of research and reading almost all the reviews I went ahead with Rivatas By Ideal which is next to Amayaa and also a property by Amayaa itself. Now coming to the rating I have given. I rarely give 5 star to any property, but this did the job perfectly. Starting from the rooms, having enough spacious rooms along with work desk and a sofa in one room and two sofa seats in the other (as we had booked two rooms), the washrooms were having all the amenities and specially the anti slip mat for the shower which only few do provide. The view outside though wasn't very great but that wasn't such big of an issue. Then coming to the room service, not that great but not that worse either. Sometimes they were quick but once because of rain or either some work going on the phone line got disconnected and then whenever we contacted the hotel for any room service it took a little time for getting things. We had opted the rooms with breakfast, and the timings were 7-10. The breakfast was amazing I would say, they had all the options in veg and non veg as well (I guess few in non veg) but a lot of variety in veg at least along with desserts. Now coming to the main reason why I did gave the rating as 5 is because we had a 9 month baby with us and we were so worried about the food that we have to provide her, like how would we be able to boil things or if we want to make porridge or khichdi without salt and spices how'd we do that but I saw a review which mentioned that in this property you'd get all the necessary items for baby food, if you request they will specially make things as per your requirement and instructions you give. They did help us in making khichdi without salt and once they added jira in it which we asked not to add but when we asked they said we added it by mistake we will prepare again and they actually did. Not like any other hotel where they don't accept their mistakes and redo anything. In the morning breakfast as well the people were helpful they would even serve you at the table if you want anything and they would ask you as well. I think the girl named Lucky was there who actually did help us in the morning breakfast to serve things. As we requested the porridge to be mashed they did that as well and we requested to have the apples boiled and mashed and they were ready for that as well. These are not very big things but when you have a little baby with you these things become very important and you can't do everything in your room without kitchen, and that's when they said they would do whatever you tell them, they later actually did. Like no one was getting frustrated because we had to ask them to do something again, they were ready to help. We seriously enjoyed...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of staying at Revitas by Ideal, located in the serene and plush cantonment area of Varanasi. Our visit coincided with the peak of the Maha Kumbh season, a time when the city is bustling with tourists and accommodations are often overbooked or overpriced. Despite this, Revitas not only managed to provide us a reservation at short notice but also ensured a truly pleasant and comfortable stay — something we deeply appreciated, especially after facing a booking mishap with Cleartrip that left us declined by Radisson Hotels.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the professionalism and courteousness of the staff. Everyone we interacted with — from the front desk to housekeeping and in-room service — was polite, responsive, and committed to making our stay smooth and stress-free.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering all the essentials you'd expect from a premium stay. We found the housekeeping to be prompt and efficient, and room service was impressively quick, even during the busy season.
Dining at Revitas was another highlight. The buffet spread for both dinner and breakfast was generous, with a variety of North Indian dishes, continental options, and more. While we noticed a lack of typical South Indian breakfast items like dosa or idli, the overall quality and range of food made up for it. The ambiance of the dining area was also calm and family-friendly, adding to the overall positive experience.
What truly stood out to us was the fair and reasonable pricing. While many hotels in Varanasi were inflating their rates due to festival demand, Revitas maintained a nominal and honest pricing structure without compromising on quality or service.
In summary, Revitas by Ideal is a fantastic option for anyone looking for a well-rounded, comfortable, and reliable stay in Varanasi, especially during high-demand periods. The combination of spacious rooms, responsive service, courteous staff, and tasteful dining makes it a place we would gladly return to. A heartfelt thanks to the entire team for making our visit so memorable.

Read moreAccommodation (common areas and room itself) was quite nice and staff were friendly and helpful. We made arrangements with the hotels internal travel desk to tour the area and do some shopping. Although we had to be quite forceful with the travel desk to get the itinerary that we wanted (exclude some of the temples and add specific shops of our choosing) they did eventually agree to the itinerary and, although we felt the quote was too high, we went with them for the convenience. Our grave disappointment was that the driver refused to take us to the shopping destination of our choosing and instead took us to a copy cat shop (similar name) that paid commission. We feel confident of this fact due to the extensive research that we had performed prior to our trip. The next attempt to a non commission paying shop was ignored completely with the excuse that it was out of the way, then when we provided an alternative location of the same non commission paying shop (and showed him on our phone that it was directly between our current location and the hotel), were told that the route to get there was one way in the wrong direction. It was a blatant refusal by the driver to not waste his time on a shop that wouldn't pay him commission, although we were obviously paying him for his driving time. The travel desk apologized insisting that the hotel hires the drivers, not him. In either case, the hotel is responsible for the behavior of the drivers that they directly hire or hire via their internal travel desk and thus deserve a poor review for the drivers' inappropriate behaviour. Drivers should be reprimanded and, as necessary, replaced, until this behavior is corrected. They earn wages for driving, not for shopping commissions. We hand wrote a letter describing our experience which the front desk agreed to give to the manager as he was not available at the time, but we never received a return email or phone call, which further reduced my...
