Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Please Don’t Book This Hotel

I had a terrible stay here and strongly advise against booking this hotel. Early Check-in Scam: When I arrived, they refused early check-in even though rooms were clearly available. The staff told me I could only get a room if I paid ₹1500 in cash (no online payment accepted). When I mentioned contacting Goibibo, they threatened to tell them that no rooms were available. This felt very dishonest. Horrible Room Conditions: The first room given to me was smelly, the shower got stuck open (even staff couldn’t fix it), and the washbasin was clogged. Second Room Was No Better: They shifted me to another room, but it was just as bad – smelly, AC not working, leaking toilet, clogged washbasin. On top of that, the key card didn’t work properly. I was stuck outside for 30 minutes twice in a single day, and the staff showed no urgency in resolving it.

Despite complaining multiple times, the staff took everything very lightly and did not care about guest comfort.

👉 Please don’t waste your money here. There are much better hotels that will treat you with respect and provide at least...

There is no option in google review to give a minus star and so would have to rate 1 star. This can be told as a worst hotel i have ever stayed and the price is just a bomb for what it is. It is just a below average place and the rents should be around 800-1000k per room. A very old property, thats okay but it can be maintained well with furniture and equipment. I paid 5400/- for two nights for this place which don't even have a electric kettle. The ACs and fans they use can be kept in Dehradun Museum and get them listed as antique pieces.DONT get cheated by the outer appearance of the place and location. They dont even a have Wifi, they say they have , its just the normal which they use for their business purpose and share password to us they have wifi. But we hardly get any signal and device cant even recognise it. They sound from AC is like bullets raining from AK47.There r many decent places around this and so its a BIG NO who is planning...

Whenever I visit Dehradun, I always book my rooms at Kamla Palace Hotel. This is my third stay, and once again, they have exceeded my expectations with their excellent service, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere. The staff is very cooperative, and the prices are reasonable—not too high or too low.

I booked through MakeMyTrip and was able to apply a coupon, which made the stay even more affordable. Overall, Kamla Palace Hotel continues to be my top choice for accommodation...
