Hotel O Cozy Homestay — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Pathetic experience.. Unhygienic rooms .. dirty washrooms, dirty bedsheets and pillows .. this place should be off listed from booking sites .. I booked this place for my family ( my mom , dad , sister and grandmother) just for 1 day .. location was not at all approachable.. it’s situated inside a very narrow lane . 2 . There were no owners inside the house . One young boy is there as a caretaker whose age is just 8-9 years . We wanted to see the condition of the rooms but the boy called up his owner and the phone was on speaker and lady said “ kitni baar bola hai pehle poore paise lo phr room dikhao”. We gave him the money and saw the condition of the room.. dirty bed sheets , dirty washrooms .. there was no hot water in the geyser ..my father almost got an electric shock from the geyser .. My grandmother wanted hot water to drink so they called up the boy .. he said “ main kahan se karu garam pani , yahan koi option ni hai garam pani ka “ There was no induction , no kettle,no option to get hot water for drinking , no handwash/basic soap inside the washrooms. Upon asking the boy said we don’t provide all this .. Once the amount was given .. not for once the owners picked up the call My family literally managed to spend that night in that house . This place should be off listed from any of the booking sites ..

Please don’t book this place .. you will get nice and decent rooms to stay in the price they are charging .. I am not concerned about the money .. anything could have gone wrong at that place .. my father got an electric shock and there was literally no one who was picking their phones .. Pathetic place , greedy owners not at all recommended...

This oyou homestay is a fraud guys ....trust me they were asking for AC for a already booked AC room .... ...this couple are the most greediest and selfish people i have ever meet... they both deserve each other...both of them have awful personality they have no manners....the awful old man was raising his voice against me as if I owed him something....we didn't even stay there for a day and all i asked for was sir please my mother is in ICU I didn't stay here for even a day so please refund me back my money.... that greedy geaser was like i can't refund you the money...i said sir I'm not asking for much just cut one day money ,GST, the comission money to the Oyo....just return the money left...i paid him 5300...he just returned me 1000...and just started shouting at me....while giving the money they'll talk all sweet and stuff ...from the starting we told him sir well only stay here for a day we'll shift some where else tomorrow..he was haan beta sure I'll return the remaining amount I'll only cut one day amount and was like I'll even help you if something happens...he thinks as if he's something's great or let you remind you again sir you are most awful person i have ever met...my mother was in the ICU and i was in a hurry your greed and selfishness costed me my visiting hours with my mother....you have troubled so many of your coustomer....i hope karma returns to you...

First of all, the owner charged us extra because they did not have the room that we had booked, and thus they asked us to pay 300 Rs. extra for the premium room, which was so premium that it had hair lying on the bed and the bathroom door was broken. All of this was bearable, but they did something that got us very discomforted while we were away from the room. We were supposed to check out at 11, and I had an exam at 8 due to which me and my friend were at the exam centre. The owner called us at 7:30, asking us if they could move our baggage outside because they had some personal guests coming in!! We denied straight away, but were so worried about the laptops we had that my friend had to leave for the hotel straight away. And afterwards they behaved so cold with us when we checked out because we refused to do things their way. Would definitely not recommend to go here if you are a student/friend group/couple, because all the rooms are connected via a locked door and you could hear everything that's going on in the other room, be it intimate...
