I have been visiting Lamour Bakehouse for a few years now and the experience has always been pleasant. If you wish to get a customised cake, this is your go to place. However, the customized cakes are quite expensive, sometimes prices are as high as 3300 for a small cake (weight wise) but an elaborate design. Even a basic sheet cake design is 1500 for 2 pounds pineapple cake. Which I feel is at a higher price range. Probably non customized cakes might be reasonably priced. However, the cake turns out almost 90% the same as the design. The taste is also good, better when you opt for seasonal cakes like mango strawberry etc. The bakehouse is upfront about limitations, costs and any customisation that is not possible, at the time of taking an order, so there are no surprises at the time of delivery. They are also very punctual and the cake is always ready at the time they communicate at the time of placing the order. Hence, the reason for sticking to this bakehouse is the professionalism and their attention to detail. You can even customize the sugar content in the cake if you like less sugar in your sweets. The bakehouse which was earlier at GMS road and is now shifted to vasant vihar is at a perfect place as it's not difficult to find. It's the opposite of "The Asian school". The Ambience is lovely, the decor is perfect and as soon as you enter this place you are surrounded by the fragrance of cinnamon and cakes and everything is nice and you are instantly reminiscing about Christmas. There’s plenty of other savoury delights to choose from as well, but the Almond Roca—is the standout item on the menu.

The Mocha has become the new favourite beverage of the Doonites. Trust me when I say, it tastes much yummy than it looks, it's because it blends the flavors of chocolate and coffee. It's sweet like chocolate but with the roasty qualities of a cup of coffee.

The Almond Roca’s richness is appropriately wrapped in gold foil. Nutty and chocolatey and full of that buttercrunch flavour, they’ve managed to replicate the taste everyone loves.

The Cappuccino served at is high-quality coffee which has a balance acidity, sweetness, and bitterness in it, with a smooth flavour, and no off-notes. It felt smooth on the tongue and left us wanting another sip.
